It is always nice to watch a recap of the whole series so far in one long movie.
Because I didn’t finish the vid here’s some more answers… • 1:09:16 go caving, find spawners and make mob farms. That’s really the only “early game” way of getting xp quickly. For emeralds; make a big bamboo farm, make sticks, sell sticks with a shite ton of fletchers • 1:11:42 Raphael (red), Donatello (purple), Michelangelo (orange), and Leonardo (blue). Splinter is the rat. • 2:02:03 I personally prefer when it gets edited down. BUT I’d much rather not have a series be part livestream part CZcams vid because it just gets annoying. I hate livestreams to be honest because I want to see the content, not listen to the CZcamsr talking to the viewers, thanking them and dealing with all the subs/bits/donations. But I also know the CZcamsr needs to interact with their viewers because it’s only proper courtesy, but they are also what makes the youtuber’s career a success or not… I just get annoyed and want to see the content which is why I believe the CZcamsr needs to either make the series all livestream and then edited onto CZcams or just strictly CZcams vid. 🤷♀️
I think the 100 days episodes are great for highlighting specific mods or scenarios that are not exactly aimed at end game Minecraft. Things like the zombie apocalypse mods or survive on an island are super enjoyable to watch and explore fun mods and maps for 100 days without the pressure to constantly find something new to do. I think for worlds you plan on doing tons of builds or worlds with complex mods (things like create) a longer series where you can stop whenever you feel done would work best. Also yesss turn it into a server! I think it would be fun to see both y'all Also just a suggestion, you should consider getting Trade Cycling for the villager trades. It makes refreshing their trades a button when you interact with them so you don't have to break anything or pick anything up.
it's been a long time since I've been excited for a MC series, and waiting for each new episode to drop. Very nostalgic of my early mc watching days. I like the vibes, the more relaxed vanilla play, the long vids, and being able to just hang out while I'm doing other things. Glad I found your channel :)

Free idea! Many bases but each of them in a different style, like, you have the main one that's very grand and big in the middle of it all and the rest can be far away and it'll feel like a civilization a bit.
Also love this idea. You can do a series with building the different civilizations and then do a 100 days episode connecting them with roads and a nether base
Love the new video style, and to answer your question about 100 days videos, I definitely enjoy them for one off things, but for series episodes are great!
after i while the "100 days meta" on youtube got really really stale and was the only thing people were posting and it is actually incredibly tiring watching 100 days after 100 days so having episodic kinda videos would be really nice and a change of pace from what we have been getting for the last couple years

@SkyesToo, you may need to increase your simulation distance, it affects how mobs react at distance, the higher the number, the farther away villagers and other mobs will continue to work
I really love the pacing of this series. Not everything has to be all exciting all the time, and sometimes it's nice just to watch something laid back and slow.

honestly, just loving the more casual, long and chill videos, it reminds me of when i was little and minecraft videos were the thing i loved the most, it's honestly nostalgic and nice in general.

Would LOVE to see Darman join you on here for things 3. Yes to 1000 days recap vids. I enjoy 12hr games play videos to play in the background while I cook 4. I love vods, but being able to watch it as a recap on this channel would be convenient so that there's no confusion in the chronology
Ok, here's my opinion: 1- I've never really been into 100 days challenges because if you fall in love with a playthrough, it isn't enough. I prefer when a creator plays until their version of "The End", like, when you feel that you've reached a satisfying conclusion to a given series. Unless there's a specific story that is fully planned out with a good conclusion, 100 days can leave me feeling like I need to see more. Also, i don't at all mind a laid-back style. My favorite way to watch playthroughs is movie-length when I'm ready to relax (Probably why I don't care for 100 days without an acceptable "the end" moment). I have no idea how hard those are to produce, though. I'll still watch if they're shorter, but long is my preference. 2 - Multiplayer worlds can be great, so letting Darman and/or others join could be cool! I love scenarios with multiple players trying to reach an end-goal, but not having an ending planned can be just as fun. 3 - Is it too late to share that I think it'd be cool if you incorporated glazed terracotta into your builds? They're so pretty... 4 - Does the zombie in your iron farm have enough room over his head to bounce in the water? Could that contribute to it not producing faster? I have no idea, lol, I've just heard it's important. 5 - Hardcore videos are fine but when the creator becomes stressed by it until they don't enjoy the game anymore, it always manages to show through in the video, which makes it less fun. Play in a way that keeps you happy, then your audience will be vicariously happy, lol. * - I don't mind at all that you say beautiful a lot, but the word "especially" really DOESN'T have an X in it. 🤪Can't remember if you mentioned it this video or last. 🙃 Sorry this is so long! EDIT: I really don't like when a series has a huge gap because the creator did a bunch of stuff in a livestream. It'd be great if you'd put what happens in them into a video in your series AND fully on your livestream channel. Sorry if that's really selfish. 😬 I can't usually catch a livestream is why, and even when I do, it sucks when I have to miss the beginning or end, or when I can't actively participate because I have to be doing things while I watch.
regarding the live streams i’d love just the vods being uploaded lol, really loving this series soo far it’s such a different pace, a comp video every 1000 days sounds ok 70 hour video sounds epic id play it multiple times
Lurker here hey man x fully support the phasing out of 100 day videos thing. it works rlly well bc like u said in i think an earlier episode it doesnt restrict u as much when making content bc theres only so much u can do in a limited time frame so having episodes opens that up so much more. plus i think overall episode like videos are nicer to follow along and binge :)) love ur content i think no matter what style the videos are whether its 100 days or episodes like this (which has been so lovely to watch btw obsessed) we support u no matter what !!!! its fun watching u explore different styles of content very fun very cool

Yesss do episodes !! Please stop the 100 day cycle. It is annoying and stressful for you for sure to finish everything in a time limit, i bet it is more fun to do what you like in your time. Do episodes, take your time and have fun! You should let Darman join you on the server whenever you like, I guess it will be more funny and enjoyable for you to gather all resources for the mega builds! You should do the farms as far as you want and install the chunk render and try it out to see how much lag is makeing and figure out from there if you want to keep it or not, you can also test it in a backup world, to avoid any bugs. Keep as many series as you enjoy, as long as you feel happy to play we will be happy to watch. :D

Skyes!! Early game xp farm it's a lot of work but doesn't require to much red stone is a raid farm! Or a drown farm. Ice farms seem to be pretty easy and now that you have silk touch it's worth it. I believe the efficacy problem with the iron farm is them not being able to sleep. And would love to see dessert temple for you iron farms it would amazing!! Thanks for the amazing content can't wait for the next episode!
Yes to the series! I love the long long long episodes and the 100 days just doesn’t give me that as much. Totally would love to see Darman play with you. Yay for every week! I have to watch old shows in between uploads lol. Finally, you should check out Trydar, he makes amazing giant builds!
Love you too, Skyes! Some series work better as a 100 days and others as episodes. When someone says "100 days" I automatically think about hours long videos. Perfect for megabuilds or modpacks with lots of mods. This format I think should be shorter episodes but more often (like every week as you do for March). I like that you can skip boring stuff and focus on building and exploring without a rush. That's how I feel. Hope that makes sense. And yes to make this a server and have Darman help you. I never watch recap or full movie videos. I like the idea for the villager trading hall. Just have a notepad with all your ideas, so you don't forget! I love One Block & On A Raft. Constantly waiting for new episodes to come out. I hate jump cuts. I'd rather have an edited down version of the livestream. But I would watch the livestream, probably. Even tho it's not as exciting as previous episodes, still very chill and relaxing!
I don't know if you're going to see this, but for your gold farm idea, if you wait for 1.21 to come out before doing it, you can cut yourself out of needing to be there at all to craft by using the auto crafter they're adding and have the crafted gold bars shoot into a hopper that funnels them into a dispenser than shoots the golf out for the piglins, and then you don't have to do anything while the piglins get traded with automatically
About the villager rebalance. It's actually only an experimental feature and isn't and actual part of the 1.21 preview right now. Also, if you plan on using a riptide trident, depth strider will actually slow you down for some reason.

Since one of Skyes' main series concepts has been the Raft/ On A Raft idea, I love the idea Omega_Wolf mentioned about penguins, and I was thinking... A group of penguins is called a Raft, so if we were Penguins, not only would it be an homage to Skyes' skin, but it would fit with that series concept title as a tribute to that too. Plus, I just think it would be adorable to be known as Penguins.
i like the 100 day videos because they’re so long and great to have in the background/watch when falling asleep. BUT i do like these hour-2hour long ones you’re doing with this series. honestly i love this series a lot more than the hardcore for the nostalgia. and YES i’d love to see Darman come play along!

1:56:52 once you convert your buildings to form where they can’t burn down, I recommend leaving the game running while you sleep so the iron farm/villager breeder produces more iron/villagers.
Loving this so far, Skyes definitely feels more lied back with this new format of episodes. Just a thought, but I think it would be awesome to see Skyes do something like Crazy Craft (my childhood right there) with different collabs!
I like the idea of 100 days for maybe the first episode when you get 2 the mining for big builds or village trading it takes up alot of days, I also do like the Minecraft movies I always have your videos playing in the background while I play or cook ECT so the 1-3hr+ movies are amazing
2:01:22 I def think that editing a live into a episode is a rlly good idea js to keep everyone updated on whats happening and not jump straight from a thing to another but also for ppl that want to watch the process just not 10 hours of it, also for the ppl that exclusively watch episodes on youtube and not use any other platform like twitch or whatever also that episode w darman is a very good idea, we'd like to see you guys playing togheter!
I actually really like these kinds of videos! I like seeing the process more and everything slowly grow. I mostly also just really like long videos to watch and have so I can draw and chill a bit more. I have been subscribed since the 1000 days hardcore movie and watching everything grow has been so fun! I even have the hoodie with you and the bees! I really love slower paced things which is what drawed me to your videos in the first place, they weren't super in your face and yelling about everything and it makes it more enjoyable!
and to answer your questions from the beginning of the video, i personally really enjoy the pacing of these episodes as opposed to the 100 days style series! it feels more genuine and calm as opposed to jumping around from day to day super fast. and i can’t wait to see more of this series for the rest of march, i’ve been loving it. it feels like the older let’s play style of minecraft series which is super nostalgic and fun. it’s clear you and darman are having a ton of fun with this new series and i’d prefer that any day!! the energy is great :)

Love the series so much,btw your iron farm is not only barely to far from your base that it’s not rendered, but your villager breeder is to close and the farm is counting the iron golems spawning there as part of your iron farm.
I like the idea of subscribers being named "clouds" or "limits", but one that i think could also work is having your subscribers being called "Poppers". It would go along with your penguin theme because of the classic children's book (and funny Jim Carrey movie) "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and because of how close it sounds like poggers which would also be a little funny.
Hello Skyes! I like the idea of this fandom being called "The Limit." It sounds hardcore compared to "The Cloud" or "Cloud." Also, I like the episode videos more than the 100 days series. I feel as though the episodes run much more smoothly than the 100 days highlights. Plus, it doesnt take much to understand what's going on or what happened between clips. They also dont feel like they're kind of spontaneous. On a separate note, you should put infinity on your bow to create more inventory space. While creating the librarians, infinity popped up like 1-2 times.

Leonardo is usually the oldest and leader, he wears blue and has swords. Raphael is the hothead and the one who fights with Leo the most, he wears red and has sais. Donatello is the genius and is seen by many older fans as Raph's twin. He wears purple and has a bo staff. Michelangelo is the goofball and youngest member of the team. Unless there's a specific story that is fully planned out with a good conclusion, 100 days can leave me feeling like I need to see more. Also, i don't at all mind a laid-back style. My favorite way to watch playthroughs is movie-length when I'm ready to relax (Probably why I don't care for 100 days without an acceptable "the end" moment). I have no idea how hard those are to produce, though. I'll still watch if they're shorter, but long is my preference.
2 - Multiplayer worlds can be great, so letting Darman and/or others join could be cool! I love scenarios with multiple players trying to reach an end-goal, but not having an ending planned can be just as fun.
3 - Is it too late to share that I think it'd be cool if you incorporated glazed terracotta into your builds? They're so pretty...
4 - Does the zombie in your iron farm have enough room over his head to bounce in the water? Could that contribute to it not producing faster? I have no idea, lol, I've just heard it's important.
5 - Hardcore videos are fine but when the creator becomes stressed by it until they don't enjoy the game anymore, it always manages to show through in the video, which makes it less fun. Play in a way that keeps you happy, then your audience will be vicariously happy, lol.
* - I don't mind at all that you say beautiful a lot, but the word "especially" really DOESN'T have an X in it. 🤪Can't remember if you mentioned it this video or last. 🙃 Sorry this is so long!
EDIT: I really don't like when a series has a huge gap because the creator did a bunch of stuff in a livestream. It'd be great if you'd put what happens in them into a video in your series AND fully on your livestream channel. Sorry if that's really selfish. 😬 I can't usually catch a livestream is why, and even when I do, it sucks when I have to miss the beginning or end, or when I can't actively participate because I have to be doing things while I watch.
regarding the live streams i’d love just the vods being uploaded lol, really loving this series soo far it’s such a different pace, a comp video every 1000 days sounds ok 70 hour video sounds epic id play it multiple times

fully support the phasing out of 100 day videos thing. it works rlly well bc like u said in i think an earlier episode it doesnt restrict u as much when making content bc theres only so much u can do in a limited time frame so having episodes opens that up so much more. plus i think overall episode like videos are nicer to follow along and binge :))

Hii I'm so excited for the episode yay!!!! I like that idea going back to like the old school of Minecraft making episode I think will be more fun to watch and if u don't do 2-hour long videos, then less time for u. lol but that might be a bit cooler instead of 100 days.
Yesss do episodes !! Please stop the 100 day cycle. It is annoying and stressful for you for sure to finish everything in a time limit, i bet it is more fun to do what you like in your time. Do episodes, take your time and have fun! You should let Darman join you on the server whenever you like, I guess it will be more funny and enjoyable for you to gather all resources for the mega builds! You should do the farms as far as you want and install the chunk render and try it out to see how much lag is makeing and figure out from there if you want to keep it or not, you can also test it in a backup world, to avoid any bugs.
Keep as many series as you enjoy, as long as you feel happy to play we will be happy to watch. :D
if you build a mob farm you can use some rotten flesh to trade for emeralds with villagers using the brewing stands you found in the villages :)

Skyes!! Early game xp farm it's a lot of work but doesn't require to much red stone is a raid farm! Or a drown farm. Ice farms seem to be pretty easy and now that you have silk touch it's worth it. I believe the efficacy problem with the iron farm is them not being able to sleep. And would love to see dessert temple for you iron farms it would amazing!! Thanks for the amazing content can't wait for the next episode!

Some series work better as a 100 days and others as episodes.
When someone says "100 days" I automatically think about hours long videos. Perfect for megabuilds or modpacks with lots of mods.
This format I think should be shorter episodes but more often (like every week as you do for March). I like that you can skip boring stuff and focus on building and exploring without a rush.
That's how I feel. Hope that makes sense.
And yes to make this a server and have Darman help you.

I don't know if you're going to see this, but for your gold farm idea, if you wait for 1.21 to come out before doing it, you can cut yourself out of needing to be there at all to craft by using the auto crafter they're adding and have the crafted gold bars shoot into a hopper that funnels them into a dispenser than shoots the golf out for the piglins, and then you don't have to do anything while the piglins get traded with automatically
About the villager rebalance. It's actually only an experimental feature and isn't and actual part of the 1.21 preview right now. Also, if you plan on using a riptide trident, depth strider will actually slow you down for some reason.

Since one of Skyes' main series concepts has been the Raft/ On A Raft idea, I love the idea Omega_Wolf mentioned about penguins, and I was thinking... A group of penguins is called a Raft, so if we were Penguins, not only would it be an homage to Skyes' skin, but it would fit with that series concept title as a tribute to that too. Plus, I just think it would be adorable to be known as Penguins.

i like the 100 day videos because they’re so long and great to have in the background/watch when falling asleep. BUT i do like these hour-2hour long ones you’re doing with this series. honestly i love this series a lot more than the hardcore for the nostalgia.

1:56:52 once you convert your buildings to form where they can’t burn down, I recommend leaving the game running while you sleep so the iron farm/villager breeder produces more iron/villagers.

I like the idea of 100 days for maybe the first episode when you get 2 the mining for big builds or village trading it takes up alot of days, I also do like the Minecraft movies I always have your videos playing in the background while I play or cook ECT so the 1-3hr+ movies are amazing

I actually really like these kinds of videos! I like seeing the process more and everything slowly grow. I mostly also just really like long videos to watch and have so I can draw and chill a bit more. I have been subscribed since the 1000 days hardcore movie and watching everything grow has been so fun! I even have the hoodie with you and the bees! I really love slower paced things which is what drawed me to your videos in the first place, they weren't super in your face and yelling about everything and it makes it more enjoyable!

Love the series so much,btw your iron farm is not only barely to far from your base that it’s not rendered, but your villager breeder is to close and the farm is counting the iron golems spawning there as part of your iron farm.
I like the idea of subscribers being named "clouds" or "limits", but one that i think could also work is having your subscribers being called "Poppers". It would go along with your penguin theme because of the classic children's book (and funny Jim Carrey movie) "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and because of how close it sounds like poggers which would also be a little funny.

Hello Skyes! I like the idea of this fandom being called "The Limit." It sounds hardcore compared to "The Cloud" or "Cloud." Also, I like the episode videos more than the 100 days series. I feel as though the episodes run much more smoothly than the 100 days highlights. Plus, it doesnt take much to understand what's going on or what happened between clips. They also dont feel like they're kind of spontaneous.
On a separate note, you should put infinity on your bow to create more inventory space. While creating the librarians, infinity popped up like 1-2 times.
