The intro to this song is the most genius thing Tom Delonge has ever written on guitar. in my opinion. Its so different from his other writing.
if you listen closely to the song is very similar to 'Im lost with out you' self titled album. light courses then explodes into a same chord progression chorus

I couldn’t help but notice nobody was bothering to play the main riff on the first verse. That’s lame. I expect more from Thomas. There are two guitarists up there holding their dicks before the lyrics!

The performance is so awesome and I don't fuckin care if Tom is using Autotune or not, ofc Tom is not the the greatest singer in the world, but hey I don't care and he does not give a fuck as well, that's what I like about Tom. He is just doing everything with his heart and he is a great songwriter without a doubt.

@revojoe20 for the whisper and i-empire tours, a tc electronic g-force rackmount effects processor, mesa triaxis preamp (dirty) marshall jmp-1 preamp (clean), and for love and the new blink tour, he used mxr evh flanger and phaser, as well as the g-force for delay, and a vox ac30 (2 with blink) for distortion, and a fender twin reverb (again, two with blink) for clean. always controlled by a custom audio electronics midi controller
