It's not just about chances of admission, though. For example, Indiana University states on their scholarship page: "All students who apply by the November 1 early action (non-binding) deadline for fall 2023 will receive the highest scholarship consideration"

I have so much going on so I can't really think about early action since I'm not not finished my application...

Same but I just found out, for some schools to get considered for the merit scholarship, you have to apply early. So im rushing my applications 😔

At a virtual event I went to for uchicago the admissions dean said that they accept equal amount of people in ed, ea, and rd so your chances are higher if the pool of people is smaller.

You need to make a video on the current supreme court case, idc if it’s too political, your input as an admissions professional is super valuable.

Great info! Thanks to your video, I decided to apply early actions to several schools. I just realized however, I typed one of my parent school name incorrectly, instead of xxx University, I filled in xxx College. While only one word difference, one is A+ school and one is C. In this case, do you think worth contacting the school for corrections or better leaving as it is?

I would say I wish this came out before I submitted but. I don’t. I really like my schools. Even if I don’t get in I won’t have regrets

Yale has a rate of EA is 11% and the regular one is 4%.
Ps- i dropped my application over Yale in the early action.
