- I saw a couple of lists for Kung Fu Panda but many of them focused only on the movies, so I wanted to make a list for the whole series. Except Paws of Destiny, because I haven't seen it yet.

Probably forgot Sanzu and Mr. Ping as well. The latter does have some records and even manages to make Tong Fo afraid of him.

Tong Fo was only afraid of him because Ping had most of the criminals under his control due to his delicious soup. Ping himself is not a fighter (or you could say he is a fighter on account of him learning a few moves, but he is not a very good one)
@@rokudo302 To true, the most he has done is fight some lackies and Bo. But I think besides the soup I think Tong Fo is also intimidated by how crazy he thinks Ping is…and still is crazy to think that in a way Ping was technically a kingpin in China’s crime world just by give criminals soup.

Dang this is pretty good, you are right on including Legends of Awesomeness. Only one other person had pretty much done that. Though between Paws of Destiny and the new series coming up you might want to update this list in the future. Still pretty good all things considered.

But Po is unpredictable with his fighting and confuses his opponents with his goofiness if you get what I mean. Not only that, he's extremely good at learning things pretty fast when other Kung Fu masters can take YEARS to do certain moves.
I actually think he could defeat Oogway. If Kai can do it, so can Po.

He probably could use some new abilities and tactics to defeat Oogway, especially if he is serious and angry.

@@bloodythirstdeath8277 In the First fight in the Flashback yes. The Second Fight he was fighting seriously against Tai Lung. You really should watch the Movie again. He even himself stated he can’t beat Tai Lung even if he fights seriously, this List is totally right. Tai Lung was able to surpass his Master and then is surpassed by Po.
@@lookslikenik6931 In the second fight, Shifu mostly self defense and in the first one he didn't do anything so it's difficult to really know. But if it's prove Tai Lung was stronger than Shifu, sure U're right!

kais green hue was the most dominant in the spirit realm, shows you he fought oogway fairly, even stated kai got stronger

Feng huang has much better feats. She is the strongest furious five member of her generation, fought Oogway (who basically one shotted Tai Lung) and she also knows a lot of magic abilities, which Tai Lung doesn't
I don't know much about the legends of awesomeness characters but one thing I would have changed shifu to be ranked higher than tai lung because shifu was kinda holding back in their fight because shifu still loved tai lung deep down so he held back and then po a.k.a THE BIG FAT PANDA!!!! Came in to you know skadoosh tai lung

Well, in their first fight (short flashback fight) Shifu held back.
In the second fight, it seemed to me like Shifu fought him a lot more seriously, and even became angry when Tai Lung mentioned Oogway. Although Shifu again probably held back a bit, Tai Lung was much superior to him in a battle.
Tai Lung is much physically stronger and Shifu taught him everything he knows.
So, I think Tai Lung would win even if Shifu doesn't hold back but the battle wouldn't be so one sided.

LoA take place after KFP 1.
The special episode called "Enter the dragon" is where dragon Ke-pa appears. This special is also part of the LoA series. But there is a problem.
You see, there was a mistake in the special when Ke-pa mentions Po defeating Shen. This would make "Enter the dragon" canonically after kfp 2. And for that reason, it is decided that "Enter the dragon" is not considered canon anymore. That honestly doesn't really make sense to me but okay.
Honestly I would consider all the episode that takes before it between the first a second movie while after the special just between the second and third. Just saving China from Shen recently would have only increased Po’s confidence in the episode.

As for KFP, my inspiration came from the "Top 15 strongest KFP characters" by Blankmarks ^^

@@rokudo302 I‘ve found only one mistake. I would put Master Storming Ox and Master Croc over Monkey, Viper, Mantis and Crane but under Lord Shen with their not seen Full Power. Can you make a new List?
@@lookslikenik6931 That could be the case, but unfortunately Master Croc and SO lack good feats. We only saw them battle Shen for a few seconds literally. So I think their ranking is fine

Ox and Croc lack feats that would put them higher.
Thundering Rhino also lacks feats that would put him higher. We only know that he is stronger than Shen and probably comparable to Shifu (based on the way Shifu and others talked about him and respected him)
Shifu's placement is fine. Master elephant is debatable but he always seemed to me like the "tigress" of first furious five (thus, like in the current five, the strongest)
General Tsin fought Temutai, Hundun and many other villains at the same time. He also got hit by a mace in the chest and didn't feel a thing. One of the physically strongest characters in the series
Taotie defeated Shifu in a 1 vs 1 combat numerous times with his machines. Together with Bian Zao and his lightnings, Shifu stands no chance
I believe Tai Lung and characters above him need no explanation (If you disagree about Tai Lung, please read my reasoning in the other comment)

You forgot characters from the new Netflix series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight that had Jack Black reprising his voice role Po.
I didn't watch that show and thus its characters weren't included :)
@@rokudo302 you should watch the show is pretty awesome and it definitely takes a dark turn on the animated series.... It takes place years later after The Paws Of Destiny. The series recently got renewed for a third season and I think the popularity of the show started idea for Kung Fu Panda 4 and probably would be a setup.

Fenghuang could put a fight against oogway who one shotted him. And she knows a lot of spells that he doesn't
Po defeated him, so Evil Po is obviously stronger
He can't bypass Kim's thick skin

There are very few LoA antagonists who had such a convincing showing against Po and Shifu as Heilang..
Like, Ke-Pa, Kim, Fenghuang, the psychic cat I forgot the name of.. and I think that's pretty much all..
I would say he's somewhere slightly above Temutai and higher than Junjie and what's his name : the other small but skilled one..?

I think yes. They are very similar to Shifu in terms of power and Shifu could put a fight against Tai Lung. So this fight would basically be 3 Shifus vs Tai Lung. So I think they would defeat him without bigger problems :)

Yes. Aside from them as a team, Oogway, Po and Kai, no one can beat him. You either have to be better at kung fu (the first furious five), more intelligent (oogway and kai by miles in terms of IQ and BIQ) or a perfect counter to him (po)

Oogway could've defeated Kai but gave up because "that wasn't his destiny". He lost on purpose so Po could face and defeat Kai, in order to reach his true potential and prove his role as a dragon warrior.
So yeah, Oogway lost cause the plot("fate") required him to lose

This is the way I see it - although Yao has some fearsome abilities, I am pretty sure Kai could endure it considering he is the immortal spirit warrior and all that (like how he is immune to skadoosh) And, since Kai was going across whole China and collecting chi from kung fu masters, I think Yao would have definitely stopped him if he could

It’s pretty obvious viper was the second strongest of the five she just never had enough screen time to really show it but cmon her fighting abilities are off the charts and she landed the most hits in tai lung and beat po multiple times even when he was the dragon warrior. Viper is just as brutal and lethal and tigress , has the speed and being nearly impossible to hit like mantis , just as agile and acrobatic as monkey and she did more then crane did with her limited screen time and is more battle tested then him
Well, if we go by feats shown, Crane is the strongest after Tigress. Crane defeated Fenghuang in a air battle in 1 episode. That feat is better than any feat Monkey, Viper and Mantis have. But still, they are really hard to rank overall. They are weak af when plot requires it and only get to shine and show their power when episode centers around them (and I even believe viper literally has the least amount of episodes dedicated to her, 2 or 3 at best maybe)

Oogway (out of prime but still very capable) only defeated Ke-pa because of the tree's help. That speaks volumes about Ke-pa's power

I feel like Kai is just slightly more powerful than Ke Pa.
Same with Po, I feel like Po is slightly stronger than Oogway, he might've created Kung Fu, but do realise that it was the pandas who invented chi and literally healed Oogway with it

Brother, can I understand why everyone thinks that Oogway is stronger than Po, even though Po defeated Kai, even though he had stronger strength and the greatest Kung Fu teachers, and with them Oogway, and despite all this, Po defeated Kai with ease, even though having Ogway’s strength means that Po is much stronger.from Oogway
Oogway created Kung Fu. And when he was younger, he almost defeated all the demons in China alone. I just can't see Po winning against Prime Oogway fighting seriously.
And Kai defeated Oogway because of plot/destiny. Oogway let him defeat him. And was old Oogway anyway.

Cap master oogway couldnt deafeat the demon dragon and even the other dragon warriors couldnt deafeat him his the second strongest but po is the dragon and deafeated him easily
Po is a dragon warrior but he also needed a lot of help from the furious five in order to defeat kepa. Besides, Oogway was way out of his prime when he fought kepa and was probably quite exhausted because he defeated hundreds of demons before fighting kepa

He also had help from all furious five members against Kepa
But like I said, the most important thing is this - Kai only lost to Oogway because the plot required that. And against Kepa, Oogway only won because of the plot
