After stumbling across a street fight, Ibn Ali Miller took it upon himself to teach some young teens a lesson about respect. The moment was caught on camera and became one of the biggest viral moments of the year. He was commended by the likes of Steve Harvey, Lebron James and even Snoop Dogg.

May Allah have mercy on young Samir, who was killed recently. The young boy was in the crowd on the day of the viral street fight (not actually in the fight). We ask Allah to grant him Paradise. This podcast was a striking reminder that real life, beyond the hype of social media, should never be taken for granted.

I remember when I was in hospital for mental health; it was not a good environment, I had nobody to trust in except for Allah. I cried and lamented while I was there but I came to such a greater understanding of myself and sabr, and it was how I learned the only thing I could place my trust in was Allah.
I’m Pakistani and my sister went to umrah and she told me I won’t ever remember this she told me Allah favors the African over other people for sure mashaAllah and you can see it when you go to hajj or umrah!

What inspired me the most was the fact that he made clear that he couldn't care less about the fame or fortune his main concern was the future of those kids in one video he was in tears from finding out some youth on his block died through street violence.

But if they break their oaths after making a pledge and attack your faith, then fight the champions of disbelief-who never honour their oaths-so perhaps they will desist.
Surah 9:13 Will you not fight those who have broken their oaths, conspired to expel the Messenger ˹from Mecca˺, and attacked you first? Do you fear them? Allah is more deserving of your fear, if you are ˹true˺ believers.

This man, ibn Ali, is brilliant. There is such a future for good muslims in America.
Too much incorrect influence by Arab, Southeast asian etc. incorrect traditions.
Ibn Ali and others like him strive to study the real texts in order to develop a character which represents that of Prophet Muhammad, our role model.
Strong faith in practice. Sincerity, courage, bravery and fairness.
People of all backgrounds come with cultures and traditions, as long as these traditions don't conflict with Islam, that's fine...Arab and South Asian culture has a lot of good in it as well as negative aspects which ALL cultures will have.

@@dayan47 I will add though, that Allah SWT himself created us as different peoples and tribes, as mentioned in the verse:
(یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَـٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرࣲ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰكُمۡ شُعُوبࣰا وَقَبَاۤئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوۤا۟ۚ...)
[Surah Al-Hujurat, verse 13]
So we are not supposed to be one homogenous unit of people, we were designed to have different languages and cultures...but the test is to take the good of each culture and discard the bad...
Nothing compares to having and truly holding to our deen. Mash'Allah this is dawa. May Allah enrich you Ibn Ali and all of you brothers in this dunia and the next. May Allah safeguard and preserve us.

In North Africa we have name like Ibn Ali. "Ibn" is pronounced "Ben" ali we even have Ben Halima and Ben Yamina as names for males lol, but they're more common amongst the older generation

@@tango1904 yes it's son. "Ben" is in our dialect the everyday Arabic in Algeria. However in some cases even in standard Arabic the "I" in "Ibn" can be dropped.
Ibn or Bin are both accurate in Araby, and Ibn is not pronounced Bin, it's literally pronounced the way its spelled

MashaAllah, I had a feeling he was associated with someone like Imam Zahid Siddiq and Yahya Rodus. The level of faith and clarity is amazing with this young man; he sets a good example. Allah has granted this young man honour. Ali is a testament to the fact that the excellent company you hold can take you to brilliance.
Reminds me of the beautiful narration attributed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):
"An-Nu'man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'The example of the righteous and the wicked is like the example of two men from among the sons of Adam, one of them is carrying musk and the other is blowing a blacksmith’s bellows.
The one who is carrying musk will either give you some perfume as a gift, or you will buy some from him, or you will notice a pleasant fragrance from him.
As for the one who is blowing a blacksmith’s bellows, he will either burn your clothes or you will notice a repugnant smell from him.'" (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
