But we can also see like when decimal comes you can check in unit digit eg-0.666+0.66+0.6=you can check unit digit in0.6 so when we get any option which is unit digit is 6 am I right sir

Apply divisibility rule in this. Most of such questions come in which divisibility rule depends on addition (whether directly or indirectly).
Like in your question divisibility rule of 88 is - given number should be divisible by 11 & 8 both. Here divisibility rule of 11 depends on addition so we will consider it.
Solution -
y+17-8-x = 11
hence, y-x = 2
