The yellow “cheese wedge” is a game piece from trivial pursuit, the circle pieces w dinos on and skulls are called pogs , like late 80’s early 90’s maybe. That was awesome watching your video and responses! Can’t wait for more unboxings!

@@haleysimmons2346 That specific head cleaner is an 8 track...they each had one but they look slightly different 😀 We don't have our 8 track player anymore but I definitely still have the 8 track "cassettes"
The head cleaner is for an 8 track player for us old folks! You would put that in the clean your 8 track player every now and then!

Rare books & special materials librarian here-old newspapers yellow/brown and turn very brittle and thin! If the newspaper clippings feel thick & like modern paper then they might be facsimiles instead of originals 😊 still cool to have though!

That cartridge disgusting with the ribbon is what we used to clean an 8 track player. This was a fun video. I would love to see more. I am a collector of antique and vintage beaches. The shiny gems used are not easily replaceable. 🥰

The US military had blimps/dirigibles in WWII, and still use unmanned ones today!
I worked inside one of the hangars at Tustin Air Base in the 80s, they are HUGE - 17 stories tall, 1000 feet long (10 football fields!) and 300 feet long. There are 2 of them still, and they could hold a LOT of helicopters. There was another group in Alameda, it has a museum about the naval blimps and dirigibles. Fascinating stuff!

The head cleaner is an 8 track! Pre cassette tapes. That looks like it used to belong to gear head, muscle car guy era. Late 60s thru the 70s. My dad had a few greasy looking ones. They played music in your home and cars and that head cleaner was used to clean the inside of the 8 track player.

POGS!!!! Taking me back to the mid 90s where I traded those with other kids, broke out my metal slammer, and had an entire plastic sleeve of these!! Great memories, thanks!

That was fun. The head cleaner is what they used to clean 8 track tape players. 8 track tape players came about in 1965 followed by cassette tapes. Ford motor company was the first car dealership to have a 8 track tape player in their cars...

That's so cool!! I haven't seen Pogs in years! They were like currency in my junior high school. Kids would get in trouble if they were caught with them 😂. It was cute watching you try to figure things out (made me feel really old).

I didn’t even know these boxes were a thing, but wow! The floppy discs are funny. Crazy how we don’t use them anymore. The head cleaner is for an 8 track player.

Head cleaner is an 8 track it has music on it usually. The cheese is travia pursuit game.
That "cheese" piece is from Trival Pursuit and brought back some childhood memories
That last item is an 8 track cassette. A head cleaner would clean the machine heads (think cassette player, 8 track player and vcr) so the sound and playability was improved. Also the “film” is called a slide, they were used in projectors to present a slide show of pictures.
That trivia card is from the game trivial pursuit I think. 😂 those were so random. But also I love mystery boxes so I’m here for Monday’s for sure!
Girl, you got Pogs. I miss all of mine. It was a game of some kind when I was a kid, but I mostly just collected the different slammers and shiny pigs. Even had a make my own machine! Wow. You have me peaking on Etsy for mystery boxes now haha

Last item is a head cleaner for an 8 track player. They were before cassettes. The heads were a bit more exposed to the air than cassette players, so they needed to be cleaned or the music would sound bad, and dirt could ruin the tapes. You put a drop of cleaning fluid on the strip, and put it in the player. The strip would run and clean the heads, making the music sound good again!

Oh cool! Was that first news article about the Hindenburg?? And those round things look like pogs- I never played with them, but they were popular with kids my age when I was younger. This is so cool!
I've been getting super into Etsy as well lately, a lot of prints, stickers & other knickknacks from small artists and really enjoying it. This was awesome, can't wait to see more! 💕 Rochambeaux is rock paper scissors, never knew about chips for it, but ok!
