But what did the brass key go to???????????????????????
The oddly shaped brass key turned the time turner, while the regular key went into the keyhole :)

Ravenclaw is a "Raven", not an Eagle... The clue is in the name... 😂
Actually, the Ravenclaw symbol is in fact an Eagle (Goblet of Fire, ch. 15), despite the name. You'll also notice that Gryffindor has the symbol of a Lion, rather than a Griffin, and Hufflepuff isn't even an animal. The House names were the founder's last names, and not indicative of the animal or crest specifically.
