FM = warm filter. GT = cool filter.
Grew up on Gran 1-4 . Transitioned to Forza 1 - now . Graphics and detail Forza fell behind a bit so Gran have been the best for awhile . But gameplay I give it to Forza . Turismo cars in recent years never really feels like they’re on the track . But it’s preference.
GT7 fanboy here. Forza actually looks pretty good. No more washed out colors. The car detail in GT7 is still unmatched though.
true
I highly recommend turning the chase camera setting in GT7 to its lowest value, it's way less stiff and awkward compared to yours
You can change the chase cam setting to give it more wobble, but thats only good for recording and such from the third person view. Having a stiff camera when youre racing and such helps a lot
I wana say GT Car Detail, Forza Motorsport Track detail.
Alot of people say that. But, if you watch some comparison vids, gt tracks have higher rez textures and better assets. The only thing that looks better in forza are the trees
Car detail and track detail all in gt7
If you watch the le mans track in forza the roads are a little bit more tight and the turns are very short
@@garyr5866that’s just outright lies. There is clearly far more detail in forza. GT tracks and backdrops are like paper mache.
@ESKATEUK It's not a lie. Some of the trees don't look great, but the rest of the track is better. Go watch some comparison vids. You'll see how the road texture in forza is garbage, and how inaccurate the layouts are. GT's tracks have alot more depth to them aswell, especially the sky box, which is in real time in gt. I've seen a video on yt that proves forz uses the same sky over and over again
GT looks like you are in a cartoon. The artwork in Forza is way better overall
i think it all boils down to preference, but as a long time forza fan, i think gran turismo certainly has the better game rn
Yup, 100% agreed. I'm really enjoying FM right now, but I do think GT7 is a better game in many ways.
Yes, It is especially superior in the interior camera.
Gran turismo 7 wins
Maybe I'm little biased (maybe), but literally everything to me looks better in Forza:car model, lighting, sound, track, driving animation. I can't wrap around my head as to why would anyone choose GT over FM. I kid you not, when I first launched FM8 on 4K display in visuals, I was amazed at what I saw,. truly one of the best looking games up to date.
yeah that would be bias xD. gt7 is older and looks better imo and has much better sounding cars + the online in forza is fucking garbage.
@@Stance1988 GT7 sounds awful to me, like you’ve put a muffler on an overall sound. Online is fine, they need to fix penalties, but the servers are good. And graphically looks way better to me, I don’t like the color tone in gt7
ah ok fair enough, makes sense. good thing theres other choices@@uros2909
I have to agree that Motorsport looks better, I'm also incredibly confused as to how people prefer GT7 coz THAT sounds more like bias to me
both like the most capable at game graphics, along w square enix
Lighting/colors appear more realistic in Forza. Which has better physics?
gt7 is more polished in most ways but cars sound like complete trash..
More polished? Go to 3:30 and just enjoy the constant texture pop ins and shadow pop ins on gran turismo, that’s not polished. And we are comparing a game that’s had almost 2 years of patches against a game that came out 4 months ago.
@@ESKATEUKThe cry is free Forzaguete
@@Werberte27 I don’t even play forza, I’m just not a die hard GT fan boy who holds such an average game on a pedestal.
FM is for daydreamers. GT is for real competitive racing.
car view : GT7 , onboard view : FM So my choice is FM
FM looks prettier, but GT7 looks more accurate.
I've always enjoyed the exterior camera movement of Forza more than Gran Turismo and this is no exception. I'm tempted to go to Forza as well with the sound too. Everything else however, I feel like GT takes it.
The sound is so bad in both games. This thing is going absolutely crazy in real life and in both games it just sounds like a vacuum cleaner
Forza wins again
FMS❤GT7
In most cases car sounds feels better in GT7. BUT this time FM wins.
The tone is completely wrong in forza lol
Yes but GT7 doesn't sound good enough either. Both inferior to ACC@@aaronsmith7143
These graphics should already be on mobile devices, like Real Racing 3...
Real racing 3 is a decade old game dawg its never going to look like that
Yeah I agree rubbish graphics on both systems 😢
Forza Motorsport has more detailed tracks . Gran Turismo car looks huge in the world . The fan stands , buildings look like hobbit world .
I like the car details in Gran Turismo but I don't like the world details .
I know Gran Turismo has improved the sounds a lot,but damn... let's hope the next one will be better...
Yeah you clearly don’t know what you are talking about
GT7 car models are unmatched, but everything else I enjoy more in Forza. Lighting, track detail, engine sound. Handling models is a toss-up for me. The biggest difference for me is how the Forza track detail, how the curbs look so worn and messy for example, make the GT7 tracks look 'sterile' in comparison.
But the kerbs are wrong 90% of the time. They just add bs to bombard idiots with u realistic or non existent track details. Forza has the worst real world tracks in gaming right now. They just spam trees and random objects.
for this time fm8 looks better and its physics is so good
Uuu two arcade racing games, both sexy😂
Naaa nor arcade...you can't compare the driving with the likes of NFS or so...offcourse there arent hardcore simulators and we dont need it to be...simcade is just right
Theres some people in this thread that need glasses
Forza
Gt has worst chase camera ever. Disgusting
ACC has it the same way, yet no one complains. Why is that? Because it's an actual sim between the two? Hmmm...
@@joescivic Both of them have trash chase cam
Gt7 is way more realistic by a long shot. That being said, it’s not always about that, and forza just looks a lot better because the colors just pop, and the sound design is great. Forza also does a great job at just making you feel like you are going faster than you actually are. Forza as a franchise is better in my opinion cause of horizon, but in terms of racing simulator, gt7 takes the cake in terms of actual gameplay quality.
Forza Porsche does not sound realistic
FM wins again!😂
Fanboy kid 😂
U on smth
FM is so much fan, shame its career mode sucks. I just don't like GT7, besides excellent car models, it has nothing.
The career mode in FM is great 😂
I have never had an XBox but I gotta say, FM8 looks much better..
Forza.
Forza team
Im sorry but gt7 looks like a cartoon
You need some glasses bro

Stupid cockpit camera gt7.
At this point if you say GT7 looks better in this comparison then you’re an outright liar, who is happy to lie to support their favourite game. GT7 looks flat, and basic, with a lack of detail. Also go to 3:40 and just look at the constant texture and shadow pop ins on GT that aren’t there on Forza. Yet you all sit there banging on about how polished it is. Stop bum licking GT, it’s a bang average game.
Lol. I'm a fan of both. Played GT since 1997, and FM since 2005. I'm mainly on my Xbox like 95% of the tine out of the year compared to my PS.
GT has more accurate looking tracks. Accurate tree placement and other foliage. The grass is also thicker in GT7. Has more blades of grass visible...which also moves accordingly to each car passing by.
The textures on the asphalt in GT7 also has more detail. FM looks too dull. In GT7, tracks with yellow lines are actually 3D. They stick out. In FM, they just appear like flat painted lines. If you go to Daytona in GT7, the finish line has separate 3D black and white tiles with signatures on them. In FM, it is just flat painted squares. No 3D tiles and no signatures.
In GT7, as it keeps raining, puddles will form. The puddles actually can cause you to hydroplane. The wet surfaces even look more realistic. FM makes the road too shiney and unrealistic. The mist/spray in GT7 is more realistic in GT7. It's almost non existent in FM.
And as most people agree on, the car models are definitely more detailed and more accurately made in GT7. They also look more photo realistic. Interiors are definitely made better. Materials actually look like the real thing. Almost everything looks like plastic in FM. Interiors are too lit up and grayed out. Anything metal, and anything silver in FM, all look like chromed out plastic. A lot ofnthe cars in FM don't match their real life car.
You're not going to see much in a video, but what Ibsaid is nothing but correct. I'm a huge FM fan. I don't try to hate it, but I am disappointed for it to be like it is, especially for a title that is new gen Xbox and PC only, while GT7 is PS4 and PS5. If I didn't like FM, I wouldn't play it so much or have 161 cars and never having anything to do for career because it gets finished the same day new races become available.
