This is outstanding i have played this so many times you have really touched depth of our ancient and Celtic language and heritage. CYMRU am BYTH 🏴
Here is a story from the Glyndwr uprising. In gwent, his son and brother was leading the welsh forces (including many gwentmen) in the siege of Usk Castle. Another local Welsh lord, Dafydd Gam who had sided with the English crown came to relieve the castle, pushing the Welsh forces back into the local forest (monkswood). In Gwent, local tales speak of a time when brother fought brother. It was savage, the local Llantarnam monastry abbot John ap hywel was slain as he gave rites to the dying from both sides, as he knew many of the local gwentman. In the end, the glyndwr forces were defeated. After the battle, the local English marcher Lords, rounded up 300 prisoners and beheaded them in front of usk Castle.

Good spot, I was initially opposed to using the stuff in the Malverns until I remembered that the alleged stand-off between Glyndwr's force and Henry IV took place in the Teme Valley and the surrounding areas, so it actually seemed appropriate
Didn't even get through half of the song. Liked and subscribed straight away. Great music and the story of glyndwr being told. Ardderchog!!!!!! Made me one proud Welsh man 🤘
Magnificent, epic piece !! and so catchy ! It's just infectious... Bravo ! I'm so glad that this urge to play music inspired by British folk, classical music, progressive rock - and metal ! - exists, and you're going to evolve... I've become interested in Albion because of Jethro Tull.
Dear Joe, I hope you'll bring to Ian some new inspiration but when I heard The Navigators this morning I thought you had some kind of input into that song ! Now, let's add more progressive touches again. But anyway, Albion needs to release a real full-length CD. :)

Dear Joe - as a fellow guitarist my first 3 words are "I'm blown away!" If I say I hear an awesome blend of Celtic, Maynard James Keenan, Iron Maiden, and Jethro Tull, I mean it as a sincere compliment. Not since I discovered Steve Hackett decades ago have I heard guitars played w/ such a sense of melody, such precision, and such enchanting use of scales and intervals. Long may you play, mate, LOVE to Albion from USA!

@Albion As someone one who maybe be American by birth but who has a mixture of Of Celtic Ancestry including 12%Welsh along with 12% Irish, 6% Scottish from my Fathers side and roughly 10% French from my Mothers side this really hits home to me!! @Cymro 65 Rhys gethin burned Newport to the ground, destroyed St Woolos church(Newport cathedral) and attacked many churches on the Gwent levels.Mind you he must have been good because he captured many castles,including the formidable Caerphilly castle!

@Cymro 65 thanks for the reply,I did a bit of homework and found that they are a Welsh band,I'm blown away by the lyrics and music and I really like the song"vale of neath",I love acoustic tracks and Neath is not far from Bridgend where I live .I'm going to be following their progress and I really think that they're going to be huge.😉👍
@Cymro 65 I actually live in coity village and the castle is a one minute walk away from my house! there's a moated site within the grounds of the parc prison which is something to do with owain glyndwr if I remember rightly and it shows up on Google maps.
