    I like your video. You present it in a clear monotonous voice (monotonous may sound like an insult, but I mean it as a good thing, it makes you easy to understand and follow, I can go back or skip forward and its consistent, its perfect for presentation). Good video quality, good explanation, easy to follow. All around well done. Thank you, thumbs up!

    do you have issues with the plastic holding the spring? This looks like is still the best charger in 2020 but I hear some user has issues with plastic snapping, I really want to get this one but afraid that it will break too fast. Any input will be appreciate it.

      My only issue until now is the sliding tabs that bend very easy, i'm afraid that I will snap them eventually. Although I keep using this since my review and it's still doing OK.

      It has a special program for eneloop, you can enable it from the menu, but the NiMh one also works fine.

    my MC3000 arrived today, firmware ver 1.15 hw ver 2.2 2 fans
    I had a problem connecting my Galaxy Note9 running android 10 & could not find any info on how to make it work,
    Phone sees charger but asks for pin, there is no pin,
    When I start the app I get no bluetooth icon, app does not work,
    When I turn location ON on my phone app works ok,
    starting app automaticaly turns bluetooth icon on & connects to charger,
    I changed charge & discharge current in the app & its refreshing some eneloops right now,
    turning location back off on my phone stops the bluetooth connecting & the app does not work,
    seems strange to me but its working fine,
    I hope this helps anybody having issues with the phone app connecting.

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes you need to turn on GPS/location on the phone for it to work, it's a weird workaround but solves the connection issues. Thanks for sharing such a detailed description, it will definitely help others.

    Hey bro why does the charger make a distinction between NiMH and Eneloop batteries in its settings?

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Před 3 lety

      Because eneloop although are still NiMh they have different chemistry for the low self discharge thus the charger has a slightly diffrent algorithm.

    I have FW firmware version: 1.14, HW hardware version: ⩾2.2, 2 fans. That is, for example, I put on the refresh 4 acc ni-mh the discharge current in my cases is 0.2C, that is, for each slot 0.49 A, and when the temperature rises during the discharge, the fan starts to spin (one, and not both), although during power-on There are self-tests for a few seconds both coolers are spinning. During discharge, do you have both coolers spinning on the SKYRC MC3000? Who has the same problem?

    • @TechTronic9000

    • @1963rlh

      In the setup of the charger, try lowering your "cooling fan" temp setting to the lowest one then put the charger under load. The fans should both come on if you generate enough heat.

      @@TechTronic9000
      It might be a workaround, but the app is too curious and this must be fixed. The tablet is always in one place. No need for GPS at all. It is nobody's business where the position or someones house is. This is about private data (where I am) and also about data protection. I react very sensitively to this. Companies should respect this if they want to keep their customers. As far as I'm concerned, GPS can be optional, but the app MUST also start / work without GPS! A lot of apps are far too curious.

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Před 2 lety

      Yes, you need to go into advanced mode, create a new profile for the needed chemistry such as NiMh or Li-Ion, then set up the other parameters such as charge, cycle, discharge and currents, thresholds etc. It's a bit more intuitive to use the BT app.

      @@TechTronic9000 The issue in your video use is that you paired the charger with the phone. You don't need to do that. Just turn on BT then start the application and it will find the charger and connect to it. The manual was not good on this point. I kept trying to pair my phone and that didn't work. I stumbled into it working without pairing.

      There is no PIN and you don't have to pair the charger with your phone. You do have to allow the app to have access to bluetooth settings (it asks in modern Android OSes) and then just run the app and it will search for and find the charger. It then gives you a prompt and just tap the device it found to use.
