Difficulty: 9/10? -Will lower over time

Damage: 7/10 -Hyperreal still does more when equally invested
Meta: 8/10 -He is not QTE slave at SS, stronger than Nanami SSS vs SS
Pros:
-Quick burst kit
-Double time lag calculation
-SS3 allows -2 seconds to character swap
-Core and QTE reduces 25% fire resistance for 10 seconds
-SSS further reduces 10% fire resistance (35% total)
Cons:
-Costly to invest
-Hard to play at first, takes time to adapt
-Being a tank, damage suffers greatly compared to Lamia/CW
-Kit revolves around Warzone more than solo
-Movement with core feels very unstable? (I play with controller though)
Overall, I feel like Uncle can use a bit more buffs and tinkering with movement, allow SSS active trait to be in SS or SS3 instead, need faster core, less movement when using core. Fire team feels like I'm fighting against my positioning more than anything in warzone, one misposition and accidental swap will result in Lee and Watanabe missing his very needed ult energy, Liv missing her core and energy, making the overall flow of combat a dumpster fire and restart spam, or maybe skill issues, idk

Thoughts on Watanabe - Mortal Inscription:
-He is a direct upgrade and powercreeps Nanami - Starfarer
-Recommended SS3 or SSS if you plan to do rotational DPS
-Signature weapon is a MUST should you invest into fire team
-Instinctively, I feel that he is at least 3x stronger than Nanami at SSS+
Regardless SS3 + Sig Weapon already makes him better than Nanami
-SS3 Passive reduces character swap timer from 8 to 6 seconds.
This allows a constant rotational buff from Empyrea and Hyperreal can enter his rotation sooner.
-SSS increases animation speed for core and smoother kit, useful if you're competitive in warzone, SS3 is honestly enough if you want him at his best with minimal investment, with sig weapon ofc.
-Should you skip him because you have Nanami Starfarer?
No.
-Is he META?
Yes.
-Should you even invest into fire team?
I personally think Dark and Lightning is the best still, with physical right behind, So it's completely up to your choice of bricking whichever team you can't invest in.

Seems fire team is still underpowered even with new Uncle and Hyperreal. At SSS+ they can only reach Wave 15 which contrasts other teams that can do much higher than that.
Because uncle didn't really solve most of fires' problems. Lee still has his cooldowns, and Liv is an Amplifier. The shred and dmg are nice but not really a game changer... especially the switch in reduction. For the fire team, that is.
Aww, i hope he gets buffed then because it would be stupid to make an entire new gen 3 tank that only has a slightly higher score than nanamech
@megatron5592 Assumptions might be wrong. Vids on bilibili seem to show a 400k difference between fire with Uncle vs. fire with nanamech. Tho, it might be because of the difference between them at max investments.

Its not entirely fire team's fault. The fire area's/arena's buff itself and its mechanics is the reason why fire team is underpowered

There is no rule for complete gen 2 first. It can be gen 2 after wata if they only change the old char. Wata replace nanamech with new features (-2 sec cooldown and bigger shred). We can assump if next is physical tank or others gen 1 change, but kuro give features like gen 2.
The term about "gen thing" is from players for easier term.
@@agunkorea2995If we think about it, Gen 1 also wasn't finished properly since we lacked a few S ranks in core roles, mostly healers. Almost all elements finished Gen 1 with A rank healers(Sophia, Wanshi, Vera Rozen and Liv Lux), for example, and it can be argued that Liv Luminance was irrelevant to the meta before her Leap buff, thus making Liv Eclipse the true Physical healer for Gen 1.

That term just create by player base for easier clasification, like example construct with time stop is gen 2. Or the cons replace another but better is next gen.

I've honestly been thinking about skipping Hyperreal since apparently we're getting gen 3 already lmao, I may make do with my SSS+ A Lee, Empy and Nanamech and later on BRS, and then just dps with Watanabe until we get a gen 3 fire DPS, it feels bad investing on a character that is gonna stay relevant for less than a year again (Thanks Kuro)
I mean look at both the physical and Ice teams (and even to an extent dark) who have at least 1 "gen1" character in their roster (rosetta, lucia plume and vera/selena). It does seem Kuro is favouring fire team as Nanami dropped in global back in march iirc? Then a lee leap, hyperreal and now watanabe but they could very well skip fire dps and give Ice the love it deserves plus give phys a new tank. Very mu ch a wait and see game, and who knows given Hyperreal is in december(ish) that should give us at least one more unit on the cn side.
Though it also depends how much you spend i suppose given there's nearly a must pull every other patch starting in late september with Bianca coming out then Hyperreal, then Alpha's new frame
i don't think hyperreal is getting replaced any time soon, even for nanami it took 1.5 years and everyone is saying she got replaced early. there's still all the other tanks to go through and we still don't have an ice attacker, so i'm guessing it'll be at least another year.

No, if you watched rexlent's stream where he explained the methods and process on how kuro creates new constructs, its virtually impossible to change a beta tests new construct's element and roe since theyve already planned future units to be a specific class and element, if they change their blueprint, it would just delay further releases of new units
