    - The Equestrian Club has 23 stables, where residents can keep their horses. La Zagaleta also owns 6 horses, which are pure Spanish breed, Spanish-Arabian breed and Spanish-Anglo-Arab breed.
    - Manager Jaime Serrano offers classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
    - For those who wish to enjoy their first riding experience, children from 5 years old can ride one of the club's four Shetland ponies, and those aged 11 up can use a Halfinger pony.
    - There is a main track with mirrors, a circular riding arenas for exercising with a lead rope, a roofed dressage, and a horse walking machine with capacity for five horses.
    Exclusive care
    - The stables are bigger than usual: while a normal large stable is 3x3 metres, the ones at La Zagaleta are 4x4 metres.
    - The stables are cleaned thoroughly every day, removing both the droppings and the urine, and fresh shavings are added twice a week so the horses can sleep on fresh bedding.
    - There are 2 grooms who take the horses out to walk from Monday to Sunday, either by lead rope or on the walking machine.
    - All the stables have their own water bucket and shade, and currently the floor is being relaid with a rubber surface: This provides insulation from damp and lessens the impact of the hooves on the floor, reducing damage to the horses' tendons and joints.
    - In winter, if the horses sweat a lot, they are fitted with a horse blanket, which absorbs the sweat, preventing them from being cold and becoming ill.
    - The anti-fly rugs/sheets are being replaced by new models featuring zebra stripes. These permeable rugs ensure that the horses don't get too hot by allowing them to sweat. Zebra patterns are used as recent studies have demonstrated that due to the stripes on their skin, zebras are the animals which attract the least flies and insects. It has been proven that the same effect can be achieved for the horses by designing the rugs with black and white zebra stripes.
    - Each horse is fed according to its breed and the particular exercise it does.
    - A special type of vacuum-packed grass is also imported from the north of Europe which retains between 90 and 95% of water and nutrients, closely resembling the grass of the meadow.
    - The veterinary surgeon, who is available 24 hours a day, checks the horses twice a week.
