- As we will get new class mounts in 7.2, I thought it would be fun to look back at the original class mount quests from early Wow. This video takes a closer look at the Thalassian Charger questline which was introduced in The Burning Crusade and removed in Cataclysm. Enjoy!

Hey Everyone!
I see a lot of comments asking me how I am doing since my update video in the beginning of January and since I mainly post my health updates on Twitter I thought I would at least mention it here in a video or two as well for all non-Twitter followers.
So far the treatment is coming along as expected. That being said, it has not been easy. I basically spent most of the first week unable to get out of bed and after that I have slowly gotten better each day. I still need to spend several days a week at the hospital for tests and controls though. This is going to repeat every new chemo session so do not worry if I go silent some weeks, especially at the start of each treatment.
As I said in my update video, the weekly uploads are not going to be standard for a while. I will continue to focus on my health and family first, and produce content as often as my energy and spirit allows after that. Basically, I love making content and interacting with you the community so much, I have no intention to stop making content. I just have to accept that things take a bit more time at the moment.
Thank you all so much for the support you give me and considering how much more effort I have to put in these videos atm, it makes me so glad that you appreciate them!

Take care too Hayven. I only learned of his passing this week. I'm not a religious person, but things like this really make me hope that I'm wrong. I want "Next time" to be in the afterlife. After I've dealt with all my lost relatives, I want to shake Fred's hand, thank him for all his work, then sit down and talk some WoW with him.
Until that time, I will keep watching his videos.

From the video before this. You can tell how tired he was, how many times his voice went low. He was pushing it back so far. So much respect for pushing back the pain to make content for us. No one will ever take your place. Loved you brother. Rest In Peace. I hope one day I'll be able to meet you in paradise.

@RickyFromKingston Even now, and it's 10-12-2022, I am sitting here reading the comments with tears in my eyes. He was an amazing YTer and very knowledgable in his topics. I can't help but wonder where he would have gone with his series should things have been different, and I will continue to poke the WoW-bear for a memorial npc for him (possibly a quest giver for a version of his armor?)

Sadder yet....is I never knew about him until his passing and Heelsvsbabyface's video. I feel like I really missed out. These videos are a trip down memory lane for me. This one, for example, I remember doing myself way back in tBC. I was SO PROUD when I finally got my Charger (and tabbard). Nowadays they just....get it. They don't work for them anymore :(

The cinematography in this was amazing. I loved following the paladin along as they finished the quests. Beautiful, thorough work as always- this channel is such a gem in the Warcraft community.

I lost my father of cancer last year and it has been hard,but I know he's in heaven now. I remember the last days with my father,when we thought the treament was working he started to eat more talk more he looked motivated,but dint last to long,couple days later he passed away.

My dad was terminal so they let him come home. We gathered the family and were there for him. He did not want to die in a hospital as I wouldn't either. Most of us got there with a few hours to spare (3 hour drive). It was heart wrenching but I'm glad we were able to get there.
Rest in peace, Hayven. Truly at a loss for words. You're a beautiful human being. You will be missed.

I wish i had this guys motivation. Going back to a some of his older videos you can easily hear how much more energy he had in his voice(Before the tough cancer treatment). Even though he was super ill and probaly drugged he still managed to deliver great quality content. I wish the best for his family and may his spirit rest in peace. =[

I am so sad i will never get to see a new video from him. The warlock mount quest was the video i was most anxious to see, as my very first toon and main to this day is my warlock, and i remember with fondness those quests. And now i will never see that video from him :(
I also asked him repeteadly to make a video on the Sunken Temple on his series of "How it has evolved" :(
The Blood Knights have come a long way. I honestly like that such a morally questionable quest was around while the Blood Elves were still stealing the Light instead of earning the right to wield it. It makes their redemption and the reclamation of the Sunwell actually mean something because they fell so far from their faith. I remember another great Blood Elf quest in the same vein where you're sent by Mehlar Dawnblade to defile Uther the Lightbringer's tomb and his ghost appears and scolds you, but also forgives you and Mehlar. Uther even says that he hopes Mehlar will redirect his energies to restoring his homeland. Such a great moment where we see the difference between Uther and the Blood Knights's ways of thinking. As a Blood Elf paladin I'm greatly shamed by my order's past, but we do try to do better now. Great video. This is a wonderful piece of WoW history.

Cancer's a bitch, as anyone that's lost someone to it can attest. I know what your family and friends are going through, as I lost my mother to cancer 2 years ago.

As for the video, great work on the recap.
This is a classic example of Horde ways of doing things.
Alliance version - expensive, long, and ultimately a constructive means that servers more people than yourself. A real sacrifice in finances, time and effort.
Horde version - short, relatively inexpensive, and ultimately a destructive middle-finger to everyone else while maintaining a pretentious attitude about who's better than others.
Being a vandal, murderer and an arsonist out to destroy the property and valued symbols of others suits the Blood Elves well. Like the rest of the Horde, that's all they are. Destructive, pretentious assholes.
I welcome my brothers and sisters who have come here after hearing of Hayven's passing to listen to him at least once more :(.

That was the video i was most excited for in this series. My first ever toon and main to this day is a warlock. I loved Hayven's videos and i realy wanted to see the warlock mount quest chain told by him. :(

As the Paladin and Warlock are my favorite classes since I started playing WoW at launch I personally love that Hayven was able to complete both paladin mount videos and a deep sorrow that he couldn't bring us a video for the Warlock. You are missed most cherished comrade, Azeroth is a darker place without you, and I, Jhorygg, Paladin of the Argent Crusade will fight in your honor for our home world. I really cant believe he is gone his channel was one of the best channels for wow videos he is amazing at what he does. I never cry for people who I don’t know irl, but I’m crying for you Hayven. You were the true Highlord, touching us each with the Light amid so much darkness. I struggled with mental illness for a long time, and found it hard to view life as having value. You taught me to value life, and how to see the beauty in the everyday world around me: as you were dying. You blessed us all while you lived, but the true miracle is that you are blessing us still.
Even now, after reading your comment, I am in tears. I wish #world-of-warcraft would put Hayven into the game. He could be beside Reckful in the cathedral perhaps, or somewhere else his character would be appropriate. Give the players a quest chain for his version of Judgment?

I did this quest line back in the day during BC; it took forever but it was very satisfying being one of the only Blood Elves who had this mount for a time.
Only 1 month ago he was making videos... and now he has sadly moved onwards. It was a hard fight specially against this severe cancer sadly even in sweden they were not able so heal him. Im sure the paladins of Azeroth would have. Who knows he might now be spending time with his fellow paladins at lights hope.
I left WoW a long time ago, but I've always been fascinated with its story and lore. Your videos are amazingly entertaining to me. You are making me think about renewing my subscription!
