@@eduardobraga7666 Bro Zakk is the best guitarist ever. Every work hes done is all just as good in its own way. Black Label Society is just as good. His Heavy metal and ballads are gold. Hes so diverse.
That sludge solo at the end still gives me the chills 30 years later, I remember being 13 when this came out and I just knew he was Ozzy's guitar player so I bought it and it's always been one of my favorite albums of all time, BLS just could never come close
Much as I like the stuff he's done with his Black Label Society, sometimes I wish he would have further explored this type of music he was doing with Pride and Glory...
Your not the only one! it isn't just an album to me,they Created a new genre IMO Southern Heavy Metal. i love BLS and Zakks solo stuff but want another album of PNG and a tour badly i still love this album and have every version of it including the japanese release! stay Heavy...
Ironic because he was a runt when he joined Ozzy's band. Am I the only one who remembers that? Also he used to love fucking with Ozzy back then always trying to walk the fine line and push his buttons.
I love zakk's solo work, p&g, and black label. I do like his voice back then alot more than now. He had better range n was alot cleaner. Look how young he looks! Lol
Yeah and why bother? You see the cell phone videos on CZcams and the audio quality is usually horrible. A few are "not too bad" most are awful, drums usually drowning out the singer and lead guitar either too loud or you can't hear it. Enjoy the concert, leave your phone in your pocket.
I saw Pride and Glory July 1994 Bristol UK one of the best live shows i have ever seen, it was a tiny venue and was boiling hot , there were people fainting, it was also the same day Brazil played Italy in the World cup final in the US.....
Just know that his voice in bls is suppose to be how it is to fit the heavy metal vocal sounds. Pride and glory is country metal so his vocals here are perfect for it. Its basically 2 different kinds of metal
Just was blown away by ZAKK on the Generation Axe 2018 tour last month! Top 3 show ever! I still love the older shows , but he is still just a beast and showman!
Pride & Glory was Zakk at his ultimate top. Book of Shadows and Sonic Brew were great as well, but this was legendary. Unfortunately, most BLS albums after Sonic Brew were mediocre.
Dowsnr look like zakk between rhen n now but I like his old stuff much better he has fuckin talent unbelievable I would have paid to see him then. His music in bls is good but not like this come on
Him and Slash are about on the same level playing wise even though their styles are very different. News Flash - I'm lying, Slash is way better and could whip his ass onstage anytime if he wanted to...!
Pride & Glory was the best thing Zakk ever did. Pure GOLD.
I agree
Absolutely!
💯 agree.
Nope. "Eternal"
BLS
I'm old enough to remember when Pride & Glory first came out. Nearly 30 years later, I still think it's the best work Zakk has ever done.
And book of shadows.
@@victormarkos4170 yEAH! Pride n' Glory, Book of Shadows 1 and No More Tears are Zakk's holy trinity.
Truth spoken
I agree. Still listen to it regularly. That tone!

Is say grimmist hits is closer than other bls ...Sabbath vibe in a lot if it.
Or even explored further his book of shadows stuff. Acousticly written with hardcore electric solos
I agree. Feels like his technique has regressed after all those years of maining BLS. Speed is up, soul is down.
I wish he was still doing this
PRIDE & GLORY = best power trio of all time.
I’ve never seen anyone more comfortable on stage than zakk.
Very soulful voice and a beast of a guitar player.
God damn it'd be awesome for these guys to give it another go
It's time for zakk to go back to p&g type tunes. Man they were good live.
agree totally
We need MORE live P&G vintage. Very cool.
One of my biggest guitar influences in my formative years of playing guitar.
Come on Zakk bring back P&G!
Before he transformed into a Viking.
Ironic because he was a runt when he joined Ozzy's band. Am I the only one who remembers that? Also he used to love fucking with Ozzy back then always trying to walk the fine line and push his buttons.
Received Odin's blessing*
Just as badass tho
This is peak Zakk right here...
back then he was so handsome, and now he is a fucking viking god. That guy is amazing
Well he is technically the best guitar player ever
There's no question that Rick Medlocke and Mark Farner are huge influences for Zakk
This album was his best work imo
Definitely in my top 10 of albums
"Eternal"
this shit starting from 5:20 is unbelievable, the bass - drums cooperation is impressive!
I love zakk's solo work, p&g, and black label. I do like his voice back then alot more than now. He had better range n was alot cleaner. Look how young he looks! Lol
THE genuine Zakk Wylde article. Untouchable. All other iterations pale in comparison.
That was LIT, Thx, Hyung Ji
I really like Black Label Society (blessed helllride being my favorite). But I personally wish he had kept going with Pride and Glory.

a guitar madman!
When he did the moscow peace festival in 89 wtf Blew me away his energy his solos out of this world

A nother killer tune by pride and glory southern rock all the way
Pride and glory one hell of a band kicked ass

Love how takes guitar off at end 💪
Grazie di Averlo caricato!!!
now thats live music
wow amazing
I was there... much younger (and waaay less wise) than nowadays!

I saw this tour at Bayfront In Miami. It was fucking was like being hit by surprise good huge brick
Great song and band rock on
I sure miss the Days when there was only a few Cameras aloud ,,, now ,, Cell Phones ruin it ..... we use to live for the moment .....
Zakk is Unique! Allways amazing!
good recovery at 7.40
Love this Master Musician
I’ve never seen Zakk play that guitar before
CLASSICO
Wow
1994? Looks like it could be 1974 with those bell bottoms. Wylde is timeless.
ZW is definitely in my top 5 favourite guitarists list of all time...
Bro i dont like to compare and boast but honestly speaking, Zakk is the number one best guitarist ever, and im a huge rock fan of all kinds of rock.
I Pride e Glory spaccavano decisamente il culo!
the king of showing off
😂 hate on it
@@WalkingDead520 if i could play half as good as the king i would show off ALL the time
Wonder what it was in his life that made him change so much
Dimebag / Pantera
@@maxmustardman298thats true. Dimebag turned him into the best guitarist ever and the "in this river" live performance is proof of it.
presente!!!!
hell yes
Cool riff..
Great Zakk!
J.D. just tears the Bass Line Up on this song.
All my years with Zakk the P&G years hold the best memories.
Bleed Black^
that's James Lomenzo, not J.D.
I want to thumbs up this video but I kinda want to leave the number at 420.
yup.
That bassist is Amazing!
And later in Megadeth too

Man, the new Grimmest Hits is FANTASTIC. if you haven't checkee it out already

Mission accomplished, lads.
Zakk sings better than many famous rock singers.
Most of my fav guitarists have the same feat...
The best Zakk was with P&G
What guitar was jamming on ? Come on guitar buffs
Should be an 81 Gibson custom shop with EMG pick ups.
I do know it's played through Marshall jcm 800
what kind of guitar is that?
The gibson rebel i think.
5:22
Never seen that les paul before?
Guitars Cars ETC. ETC. First time for me
It was the shattered glass one covered in stickers
Is that Dave LaRue on Bass?
nop, that was james lomenzo

Brian Tichy
VIDEO MUSIC, it was a beautiful channel in Italy before that useless MTV took over
zakk looked like scott speedman
Needs the ripping harmonica.
Being an older fan, Ozzies age, I prefer Zakks voice now!!🥰
Zakk Lion would have been a better name.
To be honest Black Label Society is nothing more than a natural progression of P.A.G. Heavier , more intense , better vocals .

I think He was young and Slender Guy but now... He drunk beer too much
killer guitar but vocal is annoying

Way to much guitar. He never had a good balance of guitar. Always to much over extended leads. And his singing is controlled yelling.
Go fuck yourself hes fucking zakk wylde he can play how he likes. I dig it
@@kennedycrevoiserat7095 hahaha zakk kicks ass
