Pays tribute to the bands that he loves whether it be Sabbath or Pantera or whoever. Been as Sabbath fan since 73 at the ripe old age of 8... Just listened to Sabotage yesterday on my way home from work. Their most under rated album IMO.
Amsterdam has some of the best crowds/audiences in the world! I was there in 2019 and went to a club that hosted some small bands but EVRYONE was going nuts and singing along. Beautiful atmosphere with some great "soft" substances to boot! LOL

Brad was talented and had tough shoes to fill, but he also unfortunately butchered Tony Iommi's riffs & leads on a horrific, contractually-obligated live album of Sabbath tracks under Ozzy's name. (Speak of the Devil) Then came Jake E. Lee, who did an outstanding job as Randy's first true replacement for 2 albums. (Bark At the Moon and The Ultimate Sin) THEN, along came Zakk, who most certainly never was a member of Black Sabbath, but has proven quite worthy of such a position right here in this video. Black Sabbath camp wasn't happy that Ozzy released a live album of all Sabbath songs from his time with them and thought it was intentionally done. I know Ozzy had made rude remarks about Sabbath after Bill Ward had left and Vinny Appice had replaced him, calling the band Geezer and the three Ginnies. (Tony, Ronnie, and Vinny were Italian). But, I think Sharon did it as a marketing move. Ironically, Sharon had suggested Ronnie James Dio as replacement for Ozzy to sing for Black Sabbath as Ozzy was fired and simultaneously Dio left Rainbow. Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules were great albums with Dio.
If they would of played this outside Bin Ladens complex at deafening levels he would of surrendered at the first double slide and not a shot would of been fired! Not often a guitar trumps a war drum but this is a rare case when it does.

He aint 'ripping' anything off. It's called Zakk Sabbath playing in homage to & keeping legacy of Black Sabbath vibrant w/ the blessings of Ozzy, Iommi & rest of their crew.
