I like the review. I bought decant bottles for each to try and test before buying a full bottle. The scent differs when you spary it on your skin. YSL La Nuit D L'Homme is better. I will buy one.

Your opinions about both fragrances are so accurate. I tried both of them and just as you say YSL's opening was not good at the beggining but it turns into something amazing within half an hour. I loved the later smell of YSL. The One is not changed a lot but I also want to mention half hour later it smells better too.
If you want to pick one it is really hard to decide :(

wow! I had no idea, I tried the la nuit de homme and was disapointed! the smell was NOT powerful, nor was it 'my taste' so I kinda rejected it, I got myself Eros Versace flame instead. an very good and positive suprise which I did not expected. and the next purchase will be Giorgio armani parfumo, the black one version very very good smell! loved it but too expensive... for now...
I like la nuit de l’homme from opening to drydown. I used to go to the frag store to just spray it on a tester strip for the third or fourth time just to remind myself that I want to buy it sometime.
Very true.. So, better have both.. Ysl for summer night and D&G for winter night..

Can you do a blind smell test to see if people prefer the old formulation to the newer one? Blindfolded I doubt I could tell a difference.

Very nice review sir, i want purchase ysl la nuit de la homme in 2021, what u recommend sir? Should i check batch code or go to blind buy pls guide me bcs im crazy about this spicy fragrance.
I would suggest to try it first because La Nuit l'homme is not for everybody. Some people are put off by the cardamom, which is main note. If you are concerned about performance, current formulation is not as bad as some people say. La Nuit l'homme lasts all day on my skin, although projection is average (not a bad thing).

Yes, I did like it as well. Its similar to the edt, except that its more subtle.
