This reminds me of my first semester of art school.
We had nude models of varying ages, races and genders.
The final model was an incredibly beautiful asian woman, who had no problem coming up with some *interesting* poses.
No lie, a good amount of students (male and female) were in awe of her beauty.
IMO, that's the best way to learn the human form.
A photo can only show so much but a live model can offer so much more.
i'm also an art student but since my school is a christian school we're not allowed to draw live nude models and we we're only given photo references to draw from which is sad because i also want to experience drawing a live model

tbh this is less about confidence and more about getting used to it. confidence shows mostly in words, not actions, you can 100% believe that before she did this, she was also like you, and probably trembled with nervousness when she did it the first couple of times, but after many many times, and I'd say she had more than 100 at this point, you'd actually find it not as difficult.
You probably wouldn't be extra comfortable, but you could act confident, which goes hand in hand with being confident as well.
