It's just flawless. One of the best modern guitarist I've ever seen!
+Alexander Mangold agree
At first I was like no way he's okay !! Then you start to hear his tone and the song just builds !! Really killer !
Pretty sure he goofed at 1:29 but it's still awesome.
dasrockness he goofed in a few more places than that but yeah, phenomenal guitarist
@@funnyperson4027 We are human and Plini too
2:48 da classic Plini lick
SELENIUM FOREST !!!!
Couldn't resist signing in to say this
Throughout this video there are obvious signs of this guys talent. Everyone around him is listening closely even if they aren't looking at him, you can tell because everyone looks over their shoulder at some point during particularly moving parts of the song. Maybe just my interpretation but this guys music is communicating on a level that lyrics just can't
He's fucking killer !! Amazing technique so flawless !!
I love how plini will sometimes make a minor mistake, and just implement that into the song. its awfully creative and his signature. It also makes me feel better that even guitarists his level make mistakes. Serious respect to the guy who made me look up from when I thought I was good and actually start putting effort to get better.
Aditya Mehra everyone makes mistakes. Miles Davis once said that if you hit a wrong note playing live, just repeat it, and it will sound cool and as if intended
@@launiz *repetition legitimizes*
That tone is AMAZING. I want it.
exactly
Now you can with the Archetype: Plini plugin :D
Every time I hear his compositions, I still belive that in modern world we can hear some unique melodies with flawless progressions.
This is soo good...
His music captivates man. Saw him live, never been happier at a concert. Plini
Most humble attitude player I have ever seen.
most of us spend a lifetime trying to 'feel' the music while others actually 'make' the music.
I have to admit the bridge was killer !! His style really levels up ! The track really builds 5 stars !!!
I'm gonna see him live in April yey!!!
this friday for me...
What a talented guitarist! Overwhelming skills and beautiful music.
00:15 Animals As Leaders guitar pick
He toured with them. Some great exchanges there.
that tone is so great
THE FINGERS. THE TONE. THE CHILLNESS. IT'S AMAZING.
man i love this song so much
i love this song! i'm studying it right now!
This guy is amazing!!!
Always my fav one 🌻
It's been a while since i just enjoyed music and didn't care about gear during guitar video. Beautiful...
hands down plini and taranto are some of the best guitarists I've ever heard, idk if anybody can Match the taste and style
Give David maxim micic a try. He's another young guitarist with a lot of style and emotion.
Plini doing Australian musicians proud..rock on.
John from Tassie.
Richie Allan from the Heavy Metal Ninjas making a cameo appearance at 1:20
Fabulous, fabolous!
Why do I always just want to give him a hug
Love his expression.. He enjoy playing every note
I love this guy!
AMAZING !!!
Love it!
wow that is Brilliant man. Those are educated riffs for sure.
Wow !
That part where the melody builds bit by bit to the end of the song is just sick
Absolutely FAN :) / I was here to have an opinion on the Strandberg's sound and definitely am going for it now
Awesome!
sensational. perfect
he's a wizard
Love that expression! (of the guy in the background) 2:37
I usually don't like this type of guitars but goddamnit that Strandberg is just amazing!
Awesome :)
Ты невероятный!
nice, good job¡¡¡
1:59 gives goosebumps
4:50 OMG it's the emo blonde hair guy again
wow from the first note heard
id love TO see à collaboration with him and Richard Spaven
Amazing! I wish I could make songs like that :D
+Mika Tarkela (Floge) do it
So fucking tasty.
istillsuckatguitar only word to describe it. I say that all the time to describe licks and riffs and no one knows what I'm talking about.
bobina321 i find myself using it a lot as well, it's especially necessary when describing certain licks with great phrasing and note-choosing, at least for me
guitar playing is very good
Riff at 1:40 is fire. Seriously badass. To me a lot of the Djent stuff sounds like technical wanking, but this gives me that and much, much more. A total and instant fan.
2:47 I' Feel Goodd!!!
OMG
1:59 that favorite 😍🔥🤘
1:20 its Richie Allan!
That cheeky ass grin bahahaha
Now this is something. The good music is strong again with this kid. The great ones (Steve Vai, Joe Satiani e.t.c.) should be excited that there is an artist (Plini) who already carries the torch of the modern guitar playing.
Vai knows already... he, in one of his interview, spoke of Plini as one of the new most talented guitarists... not bad, i guess.
Definitely... I'm a huge Vai and Satriani fan but when I saw Plini live for the first time it felt like new era in guitar was starting
Plini is by far the best guitarist right now. In regards to tone and melody I don't think anyone touches him at the moment. Everyone is just about fast burning scales and wankery...This is music I can listen to. His musicality is amazing!
Angel is right there with him
funny, there are other players out there who can play melodic guitar playing. check them out man.
damn wish he'd do the big arpeggio sweep/lick at the start
I need that rhythm tone, so bad
Which model of Strandberg is this ? I can t find it on the official stock
plini is the law
I wonder why I've never asked this question, but does anybody know what his pedal board looks like?
Juan C. Lopez in interviews he says he doesn't really use any pedal's, just Ax FX. But sense he is actually playing through an amp here he has a few, it shows some of the pedals in the video. I set up my Echoplex based off of his settings in this video.
Did he use ill torino overdrive in this video?
Anybody know what mic clamps they're using on this?!
Woww :D
I hear something from the band Cynic in this composition, is in your taste? Very good !!
amazing! does anybody know what his tuning is? is it dropped Db (like dropped D but half step down)?
Lars Bauer this particular song is in Eb. So standard half step down.
TheEpicBrionac
Thank you!
AFAIK the actual song was on a 7 string guitar (At least the rhythm sections). Here it's just a half-step down tuning with the E string dropped to C#.
C# G# C# F# A# D#
1:40 Epic Riff
Que mm es esa plumilla?
Whats the name of the song? Sounds amazing :)
Paul Reuter selenium forest
Anyone knows which Seymour Duncan pickup models are these?
jb / jazz ????
3:07 is that Dino Cazarez walking past without even having a look?
@samrooks.... hell no plini has extreme time signature meaning it sounds off but it's meant to be. not like your ordinary crap music you hear everyday, it's like a scary story
Plini Hendrix.
Hendrix would have killed to play like this guy.
Axe-wielding Aussie Aaron Ramsey...
What distortion pedal is he using? Anyone know
Vinnie Marks I think the EVH od
Is this all amp or is he using some pedals?
Nathan Brown pedals too
If you look thoroughly Plini just looks like Nik Nocturnal but more prim and proper XD
3:55 Jeff Berlin approves

I have this question for a long time: what is the idea of this kind of guitars, why there are like this
+eduardo oyarzun Strandberg guitars. They're designed with players comfort and play ability in mind. They also sound phenomenal. The guitar is a good deal lighter without the headstock and the neck has a specific contour so that your playing hand is in the most effective position at all points of the neck. Check out their website for a better explanation lol. Really interesting guitars
+Robbie O'Neill Thanks man, I'm going to see the web
+eduardo oyarzun In general headless guitars and strandberg guitars are made to be more ergonomic than your standard les paul and strat. As someone who gets bad shoulder pain from playing with a strap these guitars are great.
+gamerone00 just curious, that the thing that feels like a little painful hard ball in my left shoulder while standing up to play? this just intrigued me, i'd take an ugly ass guitar if it made my shoulder not hurt when i played xD
I'm no doctor, so I don't think I should tell you what that ball of pain is in your shoulder, but for me I just feel like my whole shoulder is sore after playing for an extended period of time because I actually pulled both of my shoulders down farther than where they should be so my shoulders resemble a fender jaguar.
john krasinski on guitar!
1:30
Plini possesses a musical heart....the absolute bedrock requirement to be a great player. If you ain't got that, you're a guitypist, not a guitarist.
ааахуеть
Bit too much reverb for my tastes in the beginning. Became sorta noisy.
i was too stoned to notice til you pointed it out, Now i can't stand it hhaha
but he is great
Very much. I wouldn't have bought everything he's ever made otherwise.
This reminded me of some Cynic stuff (Focus).
Hi
There are lots of musician out there over time.
Skilled and with their own influences.
Who’s the best, and the worst?
It’s all a matter of taste and state of mind.
Yngwie Malmsteen for instance is considered one of the better, started shredding back in the -80’s.
Johnny Uhlin is also a magnificent guitarist, hardly known in Sweden but abroad.
Check it out: DIONYSUS!
/ Leif
Didn't know Kylo Ren played the guitar.
i love this song! i'm studying it right now!
