  • Do you or your kids love Chocolate Spread? Most kids do and many adults but most of the Chocolate Spreads found in Supermarkets contain far too much sugar and often synthetic flavours. Paediatric Nutritionist, Mandy Sacher shows us how to make her super quick, healthy Chocolate Spread that tastes delicious and it's Nut Free.

I just had this with 2 crepes and other toppings and it was amazinggg- I used molasses and honey and that gave the best sweetness... I think this is great for all ages (I’m a teenager and I feel this is so much better than things like Nutella which is packed with an unbelievable amount of sugar)- also I love the addition of coconut oil- it taste really good. I also added milk bc it was too thick

has anyone tried? I had tahini at home but I didn't like the taste. whether after becoming chocolate spread will be delicious? Btw,
    Recipe 0:49
    1/4 cup cocoa powder
    1/4 cup carob powder
    1/4 tahini
1/3 maple syrup or raw honey
    1 tbsp coconut oil

  • @shineeis5657

Version for people who don't want to buy expensive ingredients they used:
    1/4 cocoa powder
1/4 cup either ground sesame seeds (might be gritty) or peanut butter (which will dominate the flavor more)
1/2 cup maple syrup/honey (according to her, cocoa powder is more bitter than what they used)
1 tbsp coconut oil or any mild flavored oil (sunflower, grapeseed ect.)

Tahini is made from seeds not nuts. Coconut is not actually a nut either its a single seed, fiberous drupe. Unlike a peanut which is a legume or other tree nut such as hazelnuts. Read the back of Nutella and you’ll understand why- children need to eat healthy because it sets the foundation for their bodies (especially bone density and structure)... processed spreads not only contain a shitload of sugar but also have very low nutritional value... this spread (among other natural substitutions) has added nutritions. For example, tihini is very high in protein.
