- 1979 - The Warriors movie, a huge happening at the time of it's release that still holds up today, featured this melancholy rock ballad during the closing scene and credits.
Written by Joe Walsh and Barry De Vorzo, who also wrote the music score for the movie., which had the same feel.
This Soundtrack version is done with Walsh's collection of musicians, however, upon hearing the song, Joe's other band , the Eagles, cut their own version of it, a much better produced track as well, for their LP " The Long Run".

Wow, This 1979 release by movie maker is 45 young and has withstood the test of time, Super cool visual effects like the city and the horizon. Lighting ia ***** Drum beat is Rock Steady. I bought myself another guitar due to my Jackson(R.I.P,) taking a fall that she couldnt recover from. I got one of the Chinese made guitars that has All the fixins of a major label model- stainless steel frets,roasted maple neck,locking tuners,mahogony body then added my Floyd Original bridge and my EMGs. So far Ive had it for 3months andit is holds its own. Ill check out your fight the good fight
