If you do a lot of research of Straight Inc. (a very intense drug rehab that was open during the "Just say No" campaign) which I was in for 7 months, this is pretty much based off that and none of this is too over the top. Please research this, I'm a Straight survivor. Wikipedia "Straight Inc." if you would please.

I’m glad that after awhile Susan Boyers realize while she’s at the drug rehabilitation center, Drugs Don’t Make You Cool 😎 especially when she’s ran away from the drug rehabilitation center. Given the material I think Viveka Davis did a great job. It was definitely overwritten but she did a very solid job for a young actor.

I remembered when Susan Boyers parents took her to the drug rehabilitation center when it’s night to give her testimony about drugs have done to her life like when she’s started to hang out with some of older kids at school, she’s got pregnant 🤰 and stole money 💰 to get her abortion. She’s was scared to tell her parents what’s happened. She’s even stole her Dad’s prescription pad to get drugs. I’m glad that her family was really supportive. Jennydebrier

At 1:47, you'll see a very butch girl with a mullet. There is a scene with her bitching at the girl speaking, and it is amazing. Worth finding the movie for.

Im surpise that this movie didnt have a scene where the Klingons beamed the girl on there mothership and made her a sex/slave girl. Because that how ridiculous this movie is. Plus i think the producers forgot a few other drugs that they didnt give to the girl.

I hated when Susan’s was at the drug detox rehabilitation center, sometimes she’s was treating like she’s a nobody and people yelled at her. Nobody deserves to be treated like crap 💩, I don’t care who it’s. I knew after awhile she’s was really trying being there. Seems like they’re putting her on the spot, that they don’t care how hard it is for her. As if they just want to publicly shame her.
That was one way to get a break through for her. They break them all the way down then try to build them back up with out drugs.

I know most addicts tend to be angry and hostile, but there’s nothing wrong with trying to keep an open mind as far as empathy and sensitivity rather than putting people on the spot and making them a public spectacle..
I was such a straight laced kid because this film scared me. I feared that I would be sent to a horrible program just like this so I stayed away from drugs and alcohol during my high school years. Looking back, I laugh at myself at how ridiculous I was.

I read this book and then watched the movie when I was 19-20 or so. It always made me laugh. Nowadays if you restrained anyone, you'd have social services up your ass and a pricey court ticket in your hand.
