- Manchester City's Rodri, Arsenal's William Saliba, former Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal defender Kolo Toure and Alfie Inge Haaland, father of Erling all speak at the PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.
Rodri talks about City's performance last season, the new season, how he keeps himself motivated and how hard Arsenal will be fighting to wrestle the title from them.
Saliba talks about his Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard's nomination for player of the season, the title race and how close he feels they are to being able to overhaul City.
Toure backs Phil Foden to win player of the year and talks about the title race between City and Arsenal.
Haaland snr talks about how his son manages to maintain such a high standard and score so many goals season after season and says he's backing City to retain the title again.

No he didnt. As long as Haaland hardly got the ball from his teammates, only when he had his back against the goal which is easy stopping being a defender, you cant claim he had Haaland in his pocket. Haaland always have 2-3 defenders around him and its not hard for a defender when you can hold him, push him etc with his back against the goal. If Haaland actually was played through and could challenge Saliba, then you’d see he would have a hard time stopping him. Some of you guys think that only because Haaland doesnt score in certain games its because of the defenders which isnt true. Its because he isnt supplied, and when he has 1-3 defenders around him, he creates room for the other players on his team.
Isn’t this the same Rodri they said was injured?😅
😂😂😂😂, attending an award ceremony and playing football is two very different things. Some injuries wont prevent you from doing alot of things like the awards for example

He had also good campaign, never lost a single league game in 2023/24. One of the players to carry city to the EPL title, carry his nation to win the euros and won the best player in euros
