- Troubled by being the only sibling in her family that does not know her father and not getting the right answers, Harriet Lucas turns to crime at an early age as an escape. She committed her first crime at 14 years old and three years later she was sentenced to 18 years in jail for Murder. She joins us to tell her story In Detail and Beyond!
This interview broke my heart. Thank you for opening up her family failed her, no one protected her & she had to find her own way. Still a reality for many South African woman of color.

It's like that with our African ladies when they talk to other race , they laugh

She is doing well, she is responding appropriately to the lady's only humour.
We react to conversations differently I don't think that her finding humour possibly as a mechanism to comprehend such hectic content is something she should be "faulted" for
As an interviewer you have to make the next person feel relaxed expecially in these touchy stories, so the interviewee shouldn't feel attacked
