Using this as a training video for our beverage cart attendants. Bev Cart is probably the best summer job you can get if you’re fortunate to land the gig. Awesome video

@Jit Rajakulam actually... darling, my fiance has been a carpenter for 21 years. .. and he has said NUMEROUS times that he could never do my job. As I could never do his job. When it's super hot, he gets called off. Not me. When it's raining, he gets called off. Again. Not me. Instead I go inside and bartend for all the golfers taking a break from storm. He works 8 hour shifts with 2 15 min breaks and a 30 min lunch. I work anywhere from 10 to 14 hour shifts, and I'm lucky if I get time to take a bathroom break, let alone think about eating. Why do I bust my ass and deal with all that? Cause I make more money than he does as a carpenter of 21 years. I wasn't complaining about my job, I LOVE the money. But I also wasn't degrading anyone's jobs or acting like their job didn't take brains. You on the other hand, just passed judgment on a shit ton of girls that work just as hard, if not harder, in worse conditions, so they can support their children/family's/education etc. I pray you don't have a daughter and never do. May I add... and probably make more money than you! 🤑🤑🤑 I just got home from working noon to 130am, half the day in the 100 degree st louis humidity, half the day bartending drunk golfers. my fiance was sent home 3 hours in to his day today bc of "heat" But I came home with $1340. I might not be a rocket scientist, but I might make as much money as them on my really good days. Ps. I bet your a HORRIBLE tipper.

q&a: I'm new to doing bev cart and I'm having trouble learning etiquette for stopping the cart so that you don't disrupt golfers when teeing off, putting, etc. I was wondering if you had some tips about this? Great video!! the golfers at your course clearly love you lol

I have ran Powered Industrial Trucks for years.
You may want to incorporate a daily Pre Operational Inspection into your routine before you just take off.
Might be a good idea to make sure you have brakes etc.
It’s amazing how some of these places don’t care. I was a bev cart girl in 2014 and They only had one bev cart. They would send the 2nd and 3rd girl out in regular carts with the floorboard and seat loaded with coolers. I once was shifting stuff and a handle broke on a cooler, it fell on my foot and then the gas and the golf cart took off without me and crashed into stairs. The idiot Manager tried to blame me and then sent me back out in another golf cart. The majority of the coolers were broken.

What’s the best thing to wear to an interview for this job?
I would wear jeans without any excessive holes or nice pants and a nice top and just make sure you look presentable. It depends on the formality of the interview as well.
What foundation do you wear all day to stay looking like that without looking oily??? Or do you not wear foundation or powder?
I usually don’t wear makeup out on the cart because i do get so hot and sweaty but in this video i believe i was wearing the Colourpop no filter foundation stick.. absolutely LOVE it!

yes! i always give their change back unless they tell me in advance to keep it. even if it is only a dollar or two, it’s better to give it back to them than just assume that it’s my tip

do u also have to work at the restaurant at the golf course?
I work as a waitress in the restaurant as well and love it just as much. The golfers usually come up to the restaurant after they are done, so I get to see them and serve them regardless. I also get to see the regular customers and families and have the luxury of an indoor controlled climate lol
How do the drinks stay cold? Since you don’t put ice in it
I do put ice in it many times throughout the day. Even if the ice melts, the ice cold drinks keep each other cold for a while.
HOLD UP YOU GUYS SELL CIGARS AT YOUR COURSE?! I haven’t seen anything like this at ours lol then again I work the grounds crew so I don’t see much of the cart girls

@@ZenofhdTV Yhup golf caddies do a lot. You spend 4 hours with them. I know I’ve heard some people get like Wall Street jobs
I have gotten to know a lot of the golfers and regular customers very well. We are always working when we are always there and getting to know your customers that come in regularly in good customer service... and helps with the tips!
Do ppl ask for Gatorade & you have to say "well. It's PowerAde"
hahahaha basically. i usually just ask if powerade is okay and sometimes i just give them the powerade without asking 😂
