What seems to be weird is that the pop height for flatground tricks seems to be way lower than the pop height when you approach grindable surfaces
Yeah dunno why even if you have manual grind landing ON it just sucks you towards rails/ledges
I just wish there were more skateboarding enthusiasts playing RR. I know it’s not a skateboarding game but the devs deffo need feedback from those who play Session/SkaterXL/Skate daily.
@@CherishHaze666 Definitely! I have been on the lookout for mods and/or modifiers so you can get it as close to a skating sim like Session/XL. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
Also tha fact that you can for some reason hardflip flat but can't kickflip flat
@@CherishHaze666they do not listen to feedback lol. I tried forever to get them to put goofy stance in the game, even before skateboarding was added
You ever play session? If so, do you know the stat where you can control how you set into grinds? You can turn it up and it'll be less realistic, bc it'll help you just line up and sit in grinds even if you normally wouldn't. That's what this reminds me of. It's like when you do a grind, the ledge or rail has a magnet.

I hope session adds more animations soon because even though it doesn’t have a lot or some transitions, let’s not deny what it does good it does great. Just straight street skating is top tear in session.

Not being able to do most flips on flat is not realistic at all. Imo, it's a bad feature for that board. Very low pops with successful flips, sure. But not being able to do 95% of them is just ridiculous.
Riders republic not looking to bad
Getting pulled towards every grind is not ultra realistic.... This is like the Tony hawk underground of the new skating games. Nowhere near realistic as session or skater xl. I have all 3 and this is fun to play around with for a lil bit but the the worst out of the 3. I'm excited for updates tho.
I don't even play this and i can see it. It's like there's a magnet pulling you into grinds. IMHO, I think Tony hawk would be better, but I can't say that for 100% bc I never played this. But session is what looks and feels most realistic. And you can make it as unrealistic as you want if that's your thing.

never played this before but absolutely hate how needlessly bright and corporate it looks. session for me is definitely the best out of all the skate sims out currently, super rewarding to play
@@chrisu-_- I never played it either, but it kinda reminds me of skate 3 with how kinda cartoonist it looks. I could get past that if the physics were more realistic. Looks like a magnet is attached to your board when grinding.
