I was recommended to visit a company called Alloga because the security guards are a bit aggressive.
Well the first guard that approached me was fine, he was polite and not rude at all, in fact we had a nice chat. The next person that came out was a real stroppy nob and really pushy. He went straight for the "I'm phoning the police" and my reply was "go for it" not a nice person at all.
Didn't do him any good because they didn't turn up.

So the second guy walks up, already annoyed with the world. Then says "You're one of them are ye" , so he knows what Auditors do, but still behaves like a scolded child and runs to call the police, who Don't attend. Someone do a third Audit on this guy and see if he's figured it out by then.
He probably rang 999 and they told him to change his nappy.

Both these security guards made themselves look foolish, and would do well the learn the law. There are circumstances where they can refuse to be filmed - but they came across as stupid.
Out of interest what are the circumstances when they can refuse to be filmed?
@@retroclickmedia4422 As I understand it, they can simply say 'no' to the filming. Also having a sign forbidding filming is ok too, as I understand it. I don't think you need an actual reason. Let me look it up, with some sort of references to back it up, and we may be able to see which is fact and which is fiction.
@@ianluther3765 Saying "No filming" has no authority if the photographer is in a publicly accessible place and is there legally. If something or someone can be seen from public it can be filmed/photographed. The law does cover private dwellings and commercial use of images obtained.

When businesses ask you why your videoing, tell them you're doing an investigation. They will get triggered. Then when they ask what the investigation is about, just say you can't reveal that or reveal who you work for.. it's hilarious

I think that the key in your situation there was 'street furniture' - i.e. the drain cover which was in front of you and behind where the lorry's parked. If it was embossed with a local water/sewage companies name then the road has to be public (because water companies are not going to install on a private road - and the same applies to the street lighting...???
Fair point but assuming the road where he was standing was private : it probably belongs to someone else than the firm he was filming into.
In which case It's up to the landowner to eject him. Not the security guards.
There is several firms working on that road, and so that was my argument 👍

What happened to the old days of the security guard credo; “observe and report”? If more security guards did this, they would not make themselves susceptible to looking foolish all the time. Unless they enter the actual property, they should just simply observe and monitor the individual(s) in question. It really is that easy. Cameras are harmless. Security guards make their job harder on themselves sometimes by overstepping their scope of authority.

all Councils have a Statutory List of roads and adjoining footpaths that are funded from the Public purse...if this 'approach' road is on that list...it is Public.

Normanton Brook Rd, South Normanton is a public road with public utilities all the way up to the concrete marker in the road that you didn't pass.
There is a sign as you enter the road that says "Welcome to Alloga" but it's attached to a post behind the fence as they don't have the rights to use a public lamp post.
