Malik Monk is what you dream for as a go-to guy in the fourth. That end of regulation three was poised! His performance in OT and 2OTs are just impressive and other worldly. Doing it in a fashion where you are defended by the best perimeter defenders in the game Powell, Leonard, and George. Going from behind. Damn. You have it all in one guy!

Amazing display of shot making by both teams. Malik Monk what a player he has been. He was the only consistent shooter lakers had and they let him go as they could not afford him.

Too many turnovers, usually at critical moments in the game, always "Rock the Baby to sleep" and he looks like a pedo doing it, then loses the game with his stupidty. Poison in the locker room. Land mark victory & NBA Game. Them Kings Can Ball and Are Fir Real. I've always loved the Monks game. I'm happy for him..He has room to grow on a young team and flourish via his leadership, scoring ability, and athleticism. Sac is a young exciting team.
This game obviously brings back memories of The Pistons over Nuggets Triple OT Thriller

Foxâs performance during clutch time has been historic this year. Clutch time is the final five minutes of any game in which teams are within five points of each other. During clutch time, Fox has a crazy 57% field goal average, as a guard. In clutch time almost every playerâs field-goal percentage is lower than normal. Even Jokic is only at 50%. Nobody is even close! Heâs also averaging 5.6 points in clutch time which is the final 5 minutes (of games where the teams are within 5 points of each other). Thatâs 54 points per 48 minutes!! Derozen is second with 41 points per 48 minutes, a 13 point margin!!
Itâs incredible how many times heâs put the team on his back in the final minutes of close games. Itâs pretty much standard, never seen anything like it.

Barnes is the perfect match up defensively with Kawhi because he's strong enough to not give Kawhi space when they make contact, and at 6'8 he's an inch taller..plus Barnes is perhaps just as athletic or bit less but makes the ideal defender for Kawhi.

Props to 2 teams, I watched this few minutes before the end of 1st qtr I believe when Kawhi did a buzzer beater and thought why they are not going to dugout and stayed at the bench, didn't realize that it's only end of 1st qtr and already 40-40 tie game. Wondering why PG is not playing to the end of the 2nd OT, also thought why coach Lue picked Gordon instead of Mann when Russ was fouled out and that gave Kings a quick comeback before the end of 2nd OT. I like Russ fearless going to the rim as clippers needs it. Also props to Fox late 4th qtr defense, forcing a TO to Russ, steal to PG twice and that offensive foul from Powell during inbound play after that gave me a gasp. Fox and Monk seems like they still have a lot of gas on their tank while playing 2nd night in a row is beyond me. Also props to Metu, that docile killer giant outplayed Plumlee in the end.
Why the clippers didnât foul in the last 10 seconds in regulation is beyond me. They pretty much had the game in their hands.

I think Russ was the only one that saw that Monk was going to be open. Norm Powell was the one ball-watching--he went for a steal and his man got open. Russ was scrambling to cover for a teammate.
