Have you had any problems with the engraving not removing stains on the raw metal during the engravement? I had some issued of discoloring on the raw metal. Any advise on how to remove the stains. I've tried LA awesome and Zep 505 without luck.

I get them from Harbor Freight or Academy. I don't know if you have those in your area. They typically are sold for around $14.00 each.

LA Awsome and a magic eraser, should do the trick, I don't have any luck with paper towels or rags.

19" and I wouldn't go over that. I see people do that and then they are using stools to get into the laser.LOL
Have you tried to engrave any actual gun parts?
You can only "Mark" a gun and not engrave. You need a Fibre laser for that.
