- Lure makin trout minnow out of balsa wood. I cover the lure with mother of pearl, to make it that little bit more special 😉 after I painted it rainbow trout pattern.
Fishing with it was also successful 😊

That I painted in similar fashion that the first pike lure, during first fishing in Seychelles caught me 22lb Bulger Trevally - my sea fishing PB, half a pound bigger than official word record 😅 so I guess you can say my lures are lucky and fishes like them 😋

I've had other BPM baits czcams.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

Yes, it's for nails and I cure it under the nail 💅 lamp. The one I buy is called Top Coat no Wipe, meaning I can also apply magic mirror effect powder to it (I show it in some other of my videos) 😉

It's not a paint, it mirror effect powder, look it up in the nail art section 😉 but works only if applied over "top coat no wipe" UV nail polish 🙂

Efekt finalny robi bardzo dobre wrażenie. Gratuluję zdolności. Jestem ciekaw Twojego patentu z lakierem UV. Jak dużo czasu zajmuje Ci utwardzenie powłoki?
Dzięki 🙂 każdą powłokę utwardzam 2x 90sekund. Finalna powłokę jeszcze utwardzam na słońcu (parapecie) minimum 30min. Natomiast warto jeszcze dodać jedną warstwę epoxy finalnie przy jakiś zębatych drapieżnikach - zauważyłem że lakier UV nie jest aż tak twardy jak epoxy.

@@Jajabezwody wiadomo, że można, robię dużo przynęt gdzie używam tylko epoxy, albo tylko Hartz Lacka. UV z racji na cenę stosuje tylko gdzie zależy mi na czasie, np filmiki "zrób i złów w ten sam dzień", albo jak muszę skończyć przynętę, żeby filmik był gotowy na weekend. W tym wypadku powód był jeszcze inny, ta samoklejna masa perłowa zaczęła się odklejać jak epoxy zaczęła wiązać, więc użyłem UV bo ta wiąże od razu i wyeliminowałem problem 😉

It's called mirror finish powder for nail art, in order for it to work, you must use "top coat no wipe" UV nail polish 😉

@@zonadepesca7259 Black paint is regular airbrush paint, just apply it with brush 🖌️ to avoid cleaning airbrush 😉 once you have the mirror powder applied, the top coat is up to you, can be dipped in poliurethane varnish, two part epoxy, or UV resin 🙂

0.6mm in this case, for 7cm minnow I would use 0.8mm and lures above 10cm 1.0mm stainless steel wire
I've got a question, How do you know where you have to make heavier your lure ? (i'm french sorry)
It comes with experience, normal crank bait you wish to weight so it sinks horizontally (one sinker in the middle for wide side to side action, or two sinkers in front and behind the bottom hook eye for tighter action) However if you wish to make trout twitch bait is good to push the balance towards the back so the lure sinks tail down 😉

Hi, i wanna ask about your method with UV resin 🙂 what good side of use Uv resin than epoxy? and i got some problem with epoxy even i use rotating dryer rack. The epoxy can't spread even and i always end up with wavy surface. do you have some tips for kind like this. thanks.
The only advantage of UV resin is the speed of curing, it is not as durable as epoxy. In terms of epoxy be sure to be precise when weighting ingredient A and B. I suggest to buy cheap jewellery scale with 0.00g accuracy 👌 second tip is to make sure you don't touch your lure with bare fingers as this transfer oils to the lure surface, so paint and handle the lure before epoxy with latex gloves 😉 that should help

Those are ready stickers from AliExpress, so the quality is what it is. Was my first attempt with this material, still I was satisfied with the results 👌 will be experimenting and improving along the way 😉

Hello! Please tell me, what kind of hooks do you use?
Those here are fly fishing jig hooks, I'm cutting of the eye of the hook and tie the loop assist style 😉 the cord loop gives extra flexibility and the twisting trout can't get the hook out so easily, during the portrayed fishing I only lost 2 trouts out of 6, which with single barbless hooks is a good result 👌 here link to hook tying tutorial of mine:

Two reasons: it hardens the balsa a lot and seal the wood making it waterproof 😉

@@Sergmax0 yes, that's how I cover my weight holes, it sands smoother than super glue and baking soda - it is a two part car body filler putty 😉
