I started to learn Amazing Grace from the Alfred's book, and had difficulty with the melody rhythm. I thought I will never learn this before Christmas. Then I remembered that there were videos on CZcams about this book. That is how I came to this video. It was a godsend...Thank you so much. This helped me so much.
You're welcome. I'm glad the video helped.

Hello there, one more short thank you note from the Netherlands. I've written my own software to help me practice and between that and your videos I've now finally reached the end of Book I, starting October last year. Thank you very much for all the hard work that you've put into those videos, they are such a fantastic resource.
You are welcome.
Finally i can turn the page and start on this piece, it took me almost a month to complete Entertainer, i was really hoping to finish this book by the end of the year so Santa can bring me book 2 : /
Good for you! Patience pays off. :D
Thank for music skills GOD BLESS YOU PASTORJUDY
You are welcome.
Hello!
Just wanted to share that I've been watching all your videos for this Level 1 book, and that I've thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them. Learning to play the piano all by yourself with just a book is not easy, but your videos made it both easier and way more enjoyable. Trying to play these songs by myself and then use your videos to dot the i's (as you suggested) works really well.
Thank you very much for all your efforts to produce these videos. Judging from the comments they're really helpful for a lot of people. I'm really looking forward to Level 2 now, and will be closely following your videos as I go on.
Thanks again!
Bas
You're welcome.

You are welcome. And thank you.
Thanks
You are welcome, and thank you.
Hey Mr. Wolfe, greetings!
Thanks again for these invaluable instructions.
I had a more theoretical query.
Would you be kind enough to explain what is happening, harmonically, on the first two beats of the 6th bar (w/o the pickup bar) - the D-F#-E and D-F#-C thing. What chord is that?
And then again on the 8th bar - G-D-F. What chord is that one, now?
The 6th bar chord is a D7 chord, and the other chord is a G7 chord.
감사합니다
You're welcome.
Im on page 41, just checking to see what i should be able to play at the end of this book
I suggest book 2.
Do I need to be able to play the whole piece without looking at the keyboard? I'm having some difficulty with the left hand moving up and down
No, only when the hands are not moving around. As you progress, you will get to where you can move the hands more without looking, but that can come in time.
@@LetsPlayPianoMethods Thank you!
If you look in the back you see no stupid people
Actually, it says no stupid people beyond this point. That is the closet where I used to have my furnace.
