Very useful and timely. My E7 Plus came today ... still have to construct my top ... but at least I know how to put the parts together. I really liked the control box extension cable! I was almost going to break out my DIY cable stuff and make a longer cable. Edit: Note at the 0:26 mark ... she only does the inside bolt. Do not insert the outside bolt at this time. You will need that hole open when you add the cross bar.
I don't know what you're saying, but she did it the correct way(screw D is made to attach the leg to the desk top support and the crossbar is marked with limits that you shouldn't exceed. Unless your desk top length is shorter than the required minimum, you shouldn't need to push the crossbar too deep to the point where it touches that screw) and I also followed the user manual(page 3) and her way and everything worked perfectly.
I bought the e7 plus with a Desktop Size:of 60''X30'' It says in the instructions not to go past the "max" marker on the rods that connect the bases. But the desk isn't wide enough to not go past the max marks. Does that matter?
@1:41 "proceed to drill holes". It seems like most people who buy these table desk + frame don't expect to have to drill holes nor have misaligned holes. I do have drill bits and an electric screwdriver to drill holes; but if I didn't have them, I'd be also annoyed that I have to buy or rent some tools to drill holes.
I also finished assembling mine with the bamboo top and here are few advices: 1. Buy or rent a cordless drill, some drill bits. set of bit kit, a tape measure, a general purpose masking tape, a ruler and a pencil(or marker). 2. Take a day off if you want to assemble it alone 3. Make sure the assembly space is wide and clear so that you don't lose any screw because they don't add any extra The frame installation took me 30 to 1 hour because of how tight space I had to assemble it. But I took 4 to 6 hours to mount the desk top because the wood was pre-drilled very wrongly. You'll have to forget about receiving the top with good pre-drilled holes. You'll start from scratch, flip the desk top upside down, place the frame on top like in the video, center the frame, measure the length of the top and the length of the frame, subtract the length of the frame from the length of the top and divide by 2 to find how much space you should leave at each edge of the frame. Repeat the same for the width and use the pencil to mark the limit and inside of the frame hole for screws so that even if the frame moves, you can recognize where to drill. Once done, you can prepare your drill and drill bit. Choose the correct size of drill bit (take your drill, find the drill bit of the same diameter as the screws G), insert the bit in the drill, and make sure that the drill bit length is not more than the screw G length because you don't want to drill to deep and make a hole that goes all the way to the other side of the desk top. Measure the screw G then use that measurement on the drill bit and use the general purpose tape to wrap around the drill bit on the limit on how deep you want to drill(I had to watch some videos to learn how to drill the right depth). Once you drill all the holes in their correct positions, the rest basically in the video above. Someone told me that my drill and Bamboo top were good enough for me to put the screws without drilling, but I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, this table is strong; but my dislike are that many accessories to fit this rectangle crossbar design. If your desk top is not wide enough won't have enough space to mount a monitor mount; but if you leave to much space for a monitor mount, you won't be able to fit an under-desk keyboard. Most under-desk keyboard trays won't fit it anyway because the crossbar is too thick(4.5 cm and the bamboo top is 2.8 cm. So, you'll need a keyboard with more than 7.5 cm of clearance just for the keyboard clamps and add at least 5 cm clearance for Logitech ergonomic keyboard and Master Mx mouse).
@@flexispotus The whole reason I dropped almost $700 on YOUR top instead of buying my own was for the pre-drilled holes, which now I have to drill myself. I'm disabled, so this is going to take me FOREVER.. 😮💨 I should have gone with my gut and just purchased a rubberwood counter top from Lowe's for half the price. How frustrating.. Why did you bother drilling holes in my desk top at all if they don't line up with anything? 😂
In addition to this, if using the bamboo top, I did NOT install the baffles with the included G screws, they are too long to and would go right through the board.
Should the frame be centered front to back. The video seems to show the frame positioned further to the back. It’s it personal preference? Is there a minimum gap needed between the back edge and the frame?
Hello dear customer, under normal circumstances we would recommend reserving some space, but the specific installation location needs to be based on your personal habits
Dear customer, first, you need to visit the FlexiSpot official website, then click on the product homepage (such as E7Plus), and under the "SPECS" section, you'll find a PDF version of the user manual.
I’m upset that I ordered one of these and it doesn’t come with pre drilled holes. I don’t own a drill so now I have to buy one. I don’t understand why the holes would not be there already.
Hello dear customer, as everyone has different installation requirements, the pre-drilled hole positions may vary. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during your installation.

Just bought two of these! can't wait to get to work on the new office.
Thank you very much for your support of FlexiSpot. You won't be disappointed with the E7Plus.😄

@@seandemura128 I think I got lucky with mine, or the dark bamboo top may be a bit thicker, but that wasn't an issue on mine, at the very least! 💚
2:20 is hurting my heart so bad! The boxes for this just arrived, excited to get it built! (holy crap the legs are heavy!!)
We're delighted that the product has finally reached you. We hope you enjoy it! 😄

Is there a pdf of the manual instead? I couldn't find it anywhere online

None of the holes line up at any point on my desk.. and there doesn't seem to be a video of anyone installing the 79" x 35" top on the E7-Plus.. 😢
I brute forced it and drilled my own holes.

Is the installation the same as EN1?
Hello, the structures of E7L and EN1 are not the same, so some installation details may differ, but the overall process remains the same.😊
Need to add voice into it.
