I admit I was a huge clerith shipper before all this but there was a stalker that didnt stop fighting with me and a few Rabid Clerith fans that fought with me all because I started liking Zack for Aerith too.

you know what, cloud and aerith have their moments but I never saw it as romantic, to me they were closer to like siblings who are partners in crime. when we really look into how zack touched aerith's heart in her core. He gave her a dream to live by. dream of freedom so she wouldn't be afraid and a dream of seeing midgar filled with flowers (something aerith holds super dear). he widened her world just as she touched his. cloti has the same dynamic too. it's sad how when aerith voices her sentiment about zack, these cleriths dont see what would actually make aerith happy like trully happy (i think some of them don't really care for her, but are self inserting themselves instead, because they want to be with cloud, whuch they already failed because aerith, especially with a clear mind isnt into NTR lol). one things for sure though, there is no way in hell aerith will cockblock tifa, it never even crossed her mind here NEVER. hmm im sure you've read it but traces of two past. its fantastic, aerith even wants to do girl talk with tifa about zack, if only cloud didn't stop them hah. i wonder when all of these is finished I hope nojima would finally publish more about zack and cloud's pov about their respective loves and life events (childhood to present)just like with aerith's and tifa's book.
ZA and CT are both their respective star crossed lovers, with ZA being the real tragic love story...but hmmm maybe that will change this time around haha. I think they will still need to say goodbye i know........ but I want them to at least be super happy during those last moments (if not the happiest they've ever been for the rest of their lives). they say the next one is gonna be super painful ( the people kojima got a dinner date with? there's even a rumor where one is a clerith that became a cloti immediately after that dinner lol)...im kinda scared tbh but all in all I want to believe they'll pull it off!!!

And in FF7 Remake Integrade, the first place that Zack visited after 'surviving' his supposed 'death' is Aerith's church in the slums.

Square Enix in Japanese- Dirge of Cerberus Profile for Cloud, describes both Aerith and Zack as best friends Cloud lost and he failed to protect them, he struggled with his guilt over their deaths in advent children, and he’s over that now in Dirge of Cerberus that he joins the fight once again! Japan describes Tifa as being the woman of Cloud’s family, and the more happiness he feels with Tifa the more scared of losing her and everything he becomes. He never wanted to die in Advent Children. Zack and Aerith helped him escape the Lifestream because it wasn’t his time yet. Being with Tifa, his family and friends which are his promise land. A place Cloud woke up too and is happy about it plus he got free from his guilt too. Clerith has their moments but Cloti is building more deeply than that plus Aerith is shipping and dare I say...directing them togeter.

There's even more of this in rebirth, notably the opposite (Tifa shipping claerith) doesn't happen in either game.
It's cute that you used these clips together, but if you played VIIR even slightly different, a lot of Clerith moments happen too. And don't go getting g strings in a knot, because I am the first to admit that I could care less who people ship Cloud with. Still, even having my supposed Clerith save on my PS4, as well as my Cloti one, there's one thing abundantly clear, and that's both girls have their jealous moments because of him. But of course you've seen this too. It all boils down to how the creator of the amv creates it. And doubles that set of clips with the right amount of music. In fact, Aerith is just not jealous . Unlike Tifa, who in the original ,movies , and books has always been jealous of the relationship between Cloud and Aerith ) And so the theory is interesting, maybe knowing her future , she really tries to prepare Cloud for Tifa in advance . This is certainly unlikely, because we all know that Aerith is also in love with Cloud , but this option can not be ruled out . Another thing is I don't think Cloud will let Aerith die this time . He was too much in love with her . Yes, and the song Hollow hints that this time he will not let her go . But if she does die, it's possible that with Aerith's help, he might actually finally fall in love with Tifa.
Sure theoretically, but reality not only tells, but shows otherwise. Cloud has always been in love with Tifa since they were kids and nothing changed after five years, after their reunion, and even after meeting Aerith. I'm not denying his affection towards Aerith, but know that Aerith is not the reason why Cloud is in love with Tifa.
In Japanese it's obvious Aerith ships them and only liked Cloud at first, because of his actions that mirror Zack. She 99% ships Cloud x Tifa in Japanese which is canon compared to the flimsy sorry excuse for the English NA Team's poorly made translations. At the end of the day it's what Nojima wants, and that overrules Clerith.
The song Hollow has been confirmed by the devs that it's Cloud's feelings of loss and Zack plays a big part in that. Not saying that he doesn't feel a sense of loss for Aerith but the song is about more than her. The devs have also confirmed that FFVIIR will be following all the big story points of the OG so, sorry, but Aerith will also have to die to help save the planet in the Remake as well. It will happen in an unexpected way but it will still be happening. They are setting us up to think we have a choice or a chance but destiny will still play out.
Lmfao, Cloud was never in love with Aerith. His fake persona maybe had something for her, but not the real Cloud. Not even after her death. The only thing Cloud felt was guilt and who wouldn't feel guilty for not able to save a friend?
Cloud only shared mutual feelings with Tifa. Ppl should seriously take a deeper note on Cloud and who he truly is and what's his story.
Hollow is a funny song. To me it's about Clerith, but at the same time like it's been said, it can be about anyone's point of view. To Cloud from Tifa, to Tifa from Cloud, to Zack from Cloud, to Zack from Aerith, to Aerith from Zack.
Aerith is going to die no matter what. They're not going to make any tragical changes to the story and her death is iconic Plus NECESSARY. Her character would be pointless if she didn't die.

Rumour has it that Aerith dreamt the outcome of og FFVII, but because remake is the 5th part of the compilation then she must be dead already. Even in the song Hollow there is a line that says "SINCE YOUR LONG GONE" I mean they couldn't be more clearer then that, could they.

So many signs Cloti ignores is the flower means reunuion that Aerith gave to Cloud not love. Tifa confirms it in her resolution in chapter 14, if you get the trophy for chapter 8 with Aerith, it is called reunion and the photo shows Aerith church with the flowers and at the end of chapter 8 when Aerith ambushes Cloud it said his heart skipped a beat and on their date at the park when Cloud sat next to Aerith it said his heart was pounding and it took them awhile to say goodbye and Cloud smiled when he realized Aerith took the longer route. The way Cloud looked at Aerith wearing her red dress and he didn't even noticed Tifa not even when woke up next to her instead he ran to help Aerith up. Hollow is about Cloud and Aerith, it plays in sector 5, Aerith sector, the end credits are Hollow theme, Aerith Theme, Cloud theme and google Cloud theme you will see the answer, as soon as Cloud theme plays clips of Aerith starts, last theme whisper theme. The 30th final fantasy anniversary shows Cloud and Aerith and they are in the end credits of Kindom Hearts 1 & 2.8. Square Enix shows a lot of Cloud and Aerith scenes compared to Tifa, EarthxSky ❤

motomu toriyama (who is the scenario director) himself has said that tifa is the only one cloud can open up his true feelings to, and that you can see a certain unguarded aspect of his personality when he is interacting with her. you can see this if you closely observe their interactions. he even jokes with her. one example of this scene is when cloud says, "hoo boy!" in response to tifa saying "maybe not so patient next time." it's a small detail, but it tells you that cloud is very comfortable with tifa that he can interact with her so casually. also, when tifa asks him about what happened to him after he left the village, cloud willingly answers her, but when aerith tries to ask why he left SOLDIER, he doesn't even answer the question.
cloud literally calls tifa "beautiful" in the scene where she serves him the cosmo canyon. even cloud's mocap actor acknowledges it as such, and that's significant since he is literally given directions as to how the character should move or act. and guess what? tifa was merely wearing her normal outfit, no makeover needed.
and speaking of chapter 14, you know what was going through cloud's mind while hugging her? this is taken from the remake ultimania plus: "his delight at finally being the admirable man who could comfort tifa precedes the feelings he has for her."
also, why are you bringing up kingdom hearts lmao?? it's not even canon to the ff7 story and it's literally a separate game 😂
but you know what is canon? cloud and tifa holding favor for each other/realizing each other's feelings, as stated by multiple guidebooks/ultimanias: tifa's entry in the crisis core ultimania, ff 25th memorial ultimania (which even adds that the feelings are requited), ultimania omega, for the one i love (which features other final fantasy couples, and tifa and cloud's moment under the highwind is included there among the couple moments).
