- Updated based on 5/25/24 Monthly tournament. While I think there are still some structural issues with the way the game is balanced, this meta is a solid 8/10 for me and is actually very enjoyable to play. Seeing a double thief win on EU was definitely a surprise for me and for most people watching. Honestly I don't think that comp is the best thing you can play but sometimes a slightly off-meta comp is correct for a particular map or playstyle. Both teams on NA were playing double reaper which is shit and I don't recommend, it is easy to shut down and I'm not sure why they were doing it.

There are only 2 tiers: 1 - op condy aoe spam and stealth spam, because this "mech" hasn't counter measures, 2 - other trash like power, support etc.
Im playing Core Warrior as Support. Pumping out about 2-3million Heals. Much more than any of my Ele, Chrono, Guardian Healer Builds lol
What are the best classes for playing predominantly ranged?
Deadeye is the strongest but longbow ranger is also good

@@Dizzerlusion longbow is a dps weapon so usually people play it as dps soulbeast but you can run it on decap druid if you really want

Aside from Chrono, what would you say are the best supports in PVP for healing and sustain
Tempest and core guard are also extremely strong. Firebrand, druid, and healbreaker are playable but not as good overall.
@@ItsEngal I had a go on Firebrand, really enjoyed it, but I play on controller and the pages part got very tedious fast, but it's very cool and unique. I was worried I would find tempest too complicated lol. Been enjoying druid also.
This game is not meant to be played on controller and you are going to struggle if you try to use one, I would recommend just using a mouse and keyboard.
@@ItsEngal Unfortunately I can't, I've been playing for some time now with a controller and really enjoy it, where I struggle is with classes with a lot of F1/2/3/4 skills as they are not quick to bind, with all the will in the world going after F1/2 the others become slower to press or ones you can't automate, so I generally try to stick to classes with fewer F skills. I've got each class at 80, I'm just really struggling to decide on one lol.

@@dalebrimhall1071 No, they are often misaligned or plain wrong, best bet for semi-correct is metabattle or stalk streamers and ask them
We need better tracking of builds, as metabattle used to do years ago
Hardstuck is slower to update but our builds are higher quality and the guides are written by top legendary players on the respective class

Oh wow. I don't do PvP and only see complaints of people in the forums, so I though PvP is the only area my Revenant is bad at. They often write that there are no rev players to place high on tournamets. So I guess they are wrong?

My advice is to avoid the official forum people complain without any idea of reality and when you point it out to them, the same people will start a shitstorm💀
I'm still not familiar with all the specs but I found the tier list very solid.
If this tier list would be only for solo ranked, then I would apply these changes :
Untamed God -> S (Due to recent mace & turtle pet nerfs)
Reaper S -> A (Relies on good sup)
Deadeye S -> A (Reflects :/ )
Daredevil A -> S (Better mobility & stealth imo)
Willbender B -> A (I don't think it's that squishy anymore with the new "Relic of Zakiros")
Core Ranger C -> B (It's actually quite annoying to deal with it)
Maybe you can make a new video tier list for solo ranked only ?

Core warrior has a support build, barerly any weaker than Guard and Tempest, preforming just fine in solo queue up to platinum level.
Sure its weaker than alternatives, i'll give you that, but only a little bit weaker, and it can survive trough a lot of bullshit that would kill Scourge and Tempest.
Its closer to Mirage-Scrapper situation, where you don't see it becouse alternatives overshadow it in eyes of tournament goers, and it definitely shouldn't be in "uninstall" tier.
If you want to play support war healbreaker is good but core warrior lacks the tools to be competitive at any serious rating. You can get to plat on any of the specs in uninstall tier with practice but that doesn't make them good.

Gw2 pvp is dead. Just works to plat+ players.

I agree with most of this list but soul beast is def not S tier imo. Especially after the dual mace nerfs, it should probably be around B tier at best. Survivability is quite poor outside of invis and damage is not at the level of many other dps. Condi soul beast especially is pretty gimicky and not super viable. Overall, good video though!
A fantasy game without a good wizard archetype in pvp? Ew.
Tempest is one of the best supports in the game and you can't get more wizardly than staff ele.
