As one of your subscribers points out, Lara is truly remarkable live and I concur. I've been blessed over the years having seen her live a baker dozen times in various venues in different countries starting back in 1997 in Montreal and the last being June 2023 also in Montreal :-) If you ever get the chance, I think you will be pleased

It pains me to no end to let those of you who may not otherwise already know or to confirm suspicions harbored by some others tuning in - that - the singing in this particular performance is, in fact, *dubbed* and please do believe me when I say that it gives me no great pleasure to reveal this inconvenient and rather unseemly, truth _that_ : *(brace yourselves, folks)* Yes, the mighty Lara Fabian is, indeed, ''lip-syncing'' here. I suspected that something wasn't quite right* _upon my initial viewing back in the day_ but resisted any impulse or inclination I may have felt or had at that time to delve deeper; preferring instead to remain in a kind of blissful if not strange state of denial. The Russians are somewhat adept at pulling this type of deception off; intermingling genuinely live performances with inauthentic or ''faked'' productions so as to create or foster the illusion/effect of an overall true live-concert experience. The ''powers-that-be'' i.e. promoters, financiers in Russia, especially, can exert a great deal of pressure on artists to comply with terms requiring that they 'play the game'. Lara did a lot of lipsyncing in her Russian concerts. It's the Russians who demanded this. Not ideal, however the consolation is that it is really her voice and the recorded performance could hardly be bettered anyway.
