Many of you have asked me, how to get the best Sound out of the Duke.
Precisely, how I modified my own Duke 390 to make it sound, how it sounds!
So this video is dedicated to all of you Duke riders for the best Duke Sound Mods!

so its seems that youre allowing more air to flow through the entire bike.. coming in and going out to get a better run and sound out of your bike.. I like the Raw Sound vid of your wheelies popin so easy.. sick videos !!

Yeah, true that, it‘s got quite a lot more torque through that as well!
I have two comparisons as well. The other one is by SP Engineering and sounds amazing. Although vid does not do it justice. Had someone do a fly by and wish I filmed it as it sounded sooo good. Everyone outside the shop made comment about how good it is. Will make a fly by soon I think. Having it louder now has saved me more than I can count with people about to pull out. Still happens but most stop from dipping the clutch and revving.

The bar endings are the original ones but customized to take the mirrors (I machined the ends a bit to make them fit).

I hate how much you have to go through to remove the dB killer from the Akra slipons.
I run a LeoVince LV Pro Carbon uncorked.
Sounds great. Obviously not on in my avatar but that photo was taken 1 month after I brought the bike home from the dealer. I didn't throw the LV Pro on til I passed the 600 mile break in.

Richtig geil damit sollte man ja durch die Polizei Kontrolle und den Tüv kommen. Sind ja ganz kleine Änderungen die den Sound verändern und nicht wirklich viel lauter machen

I've made 8mm holes in my db killer and I have modified airbox lid (the orange one with sponge). I don't have that braaap effect :( It was more "Braaap" without the DB than now. What do you think may be a reason? I love your sound.
What do you mean by that: "(the orange one with sponge)"?
The last thing which would make quite a big difference is the decat.
It's not legal but it's definitely worth it!
@@BRAAAPP Type "Coober Duke 390 airbox lid" and you will see. Well i think decat will just make it extremely loud, but I guess it won't make that braaap you have in this video
@@S57CYL think its that there is too many openings pulling air from your Coober airbox lid.. where if it was one open hole would pull more air like a vacuum
Do you have also aftermarket ecu or just exhaust and filter ??
Exhaust + filter and works great.
No worries for hot exhaust gas or something, the ecu / mapping does a very good job already

Yes, better torque and throttle response I‘d say for sure!
