Pretty spot on. I want to love this car but can’t really come to terms that it’s missing a lot of features other cars in its class has. Reflector headlights, half digital dash, battery taking up half the spare wheel well, no spare just all seem like Honda just cutting corners. Yes these are small items but it’s hard to ignore when you’re paying almost 40 grand

No panoramic roof… like that’s a bad thing. Panoramic roofs are prone to leaking, make extra noise, reduce headroom, and transmit a bunch of heat. I avoid any car with a large glass roof which gets opened 3x a year.

I’m a new owner of the 2024 CRV Sport Touring. It was between the RAV Limited or the CRV sport touring. The RAV was about $4k more. I’m happy with the CRV as a first time Honda owner. What’s disappointing is no spare tire. Having never owning a hybrid model and a crossover of this size I’m crossing my fingers I don’t get a flat tie while on the road. 😊 Another disappointment is their TPMS system. I like to be able to see in the instrumental panel the PSIs reading but it doesn’t have this option. Their TPMS system will inform you if your tires are too low.
I’m still acclimating myself my with my new car and really enjoy driving it.
My previous car was (is still) is a 2017 Ford Explorer Sport which we decided to keep being that it’s been a good SUV.

I have a Sport L. It’s a solid car that I like, but don’t love. I feel like Honda cuts corners, and leaves out features, while charging you more, because of the Honda name. Things I dislike about this model include the loud engine, the unfriendly seats (padded ironing boards without enough adjustments), and interior rattles going over uneven pavement. Although the ride is pretty good, with all their talk of insulation, it’s still too much road noise and road feel. Having said that, I am getting 38+ in the city, I like the steering, breaking and cornering. Wireless Android Auto has been flawless and the charger has worked perfectly for me. All in all, the car is mixed bag, not the slam dunk I had hoped for.

We have a 2024 CR-V Hybrid AWD with over 6500 miles on it and live in the Country. The closest town is 10 miles away, so I figure, 80 percent of my driving is over the speed of 55 mph and get an average of 33 to 35 actual mpg. That is better than our previously owned 2021 CR-V AWD that averaged 31.

To answer the first question, because a plug in is as bad as a full ev car. Why wait around for something to charge when you could just go normal hybrid? And all the so called cons that competitors have like cooled seats or 360 view does nothing to make the car less likable. It is more spacious than the head hitting rav4 and a smoother ride.

OK.... I own the '23 Sport Touring Hybrid. This would be my 3rd CR-V. Honda makes a great vehicle in theory, and that's why I've owned so many. However, there are always things Honda conveniently leaves out, that twist up the loyal Honda customers. No Homelink garage door opener ($350, took 4 months to get the new mirror that has it). No cargo cover. (They were included with all my other CR-V's. I don't know where yours came from!) The dealership swears that the seats are leather. The screen is less than most other competitors, and firmware updates are all but non existent. The charging pad for the phone is wonky, at best. Wireless CarPlay has glitchy software that at times, needs a restart. It's good to have the onboard GPS (actually uses satellites), because the mobile phone people are not always that reliable, and towers are sometimes sparse. This thing has paddle shifters!! What the hell do I need with paddle shifters??!! (and, I did confirm that they are paddle shifters, and not some way to just invoke the charging system. The braking does that) This is a hybrid, not a Ferrari! And finally, there is NO SPARE TIRE!! I didn't find this out until I I watched another CZcams video that concerned this. I have achieved 42.5 MPG during the summer, playing with it. In the colder weather, you will get more like 34-36 MPG. Thanks for the video! Well done!

Probably unlikely, at least not in this generation. I was reading somewhere that the RDX chassis was only designed to fit a four-cylinder. Which means they could potentially re-tune the current 2.0 to Type R levels , but then would an extra 30 hp be worthy of a type S badge.

Love my 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring AWD but I get pissed every time I look on the dash to see my MPG avg. 40 city/34Hwy? No way, not even close. My drive to work is 11 minutes city driving. Bought the car in December - with the heater on high I avg 27 mpg, NOT 40. With the heater off, freezing to death, I get 31 mpg. I did a couple airport runs - 90 minutes at 80mph, I got 31mpg. My only other gripe is a lot of times the audio system does not recognize my iPhone and the heating system seems a bit weak - especially when just using the dash vents. Oh, and insult to injury - european models come with a full digital dash, HUD, pano sunroof, ventilated seats and a 360 camera.

Honda sells a ton of these number 3 on the best all time selling single model vehicles possibly #2 depending on Tesla Model Y sales currently in the USA and the sell big precisely because they are simple and don't go crazy with the feature set that can't be supported and impinges reliability. 1000 pound towing capacity is a problem tho absolutely and hopefully the Honda Ridgline will change that for the entire Honda lineup from cars to SUVs. Probably worth the wait for any 2025 Model Year changes given the revolutionary fuel cell Honda CRV plus any specialized "outdoor editions" that might crop up.

The pickup in the gas CRV model is not anything to write home about. The seats are comfy & well made, the body style is great, rear seat leg room is great, but the sunroof is small for the price of the car and I’m not a fan of the CVT transmission offered.

The CR-V isn't more expensive than the RAV4 in practice. In fact it's 4-5k cheaper. Toyota dealers and even the company itself are charging insane markups for accessories you can't remove, and random BS. So here in AZ you may be able to get a Sport-L CR-V hybrid for under 44k, but the comparable Toyota RAV4 is over 49k out the door.
