After binge watching "I shouldn't be alive" and this, I've learned so much! Mostly, don't leave your bed. Stay lazy my friends 🤣🤷🏻♀️
lol :) So true
🤣🤣🤣
Laziness is a survival skill 😂
Bed and you tube. What a mix eh.. Bliss
even you bed isn't safe, an earthquake can ravage your home and then you'll be stuck under the ruble waiting until someone comes and rescues you lol
Who needs horror movies when you can watch this ?!?!
I agree!! When I leave my house--I take my survival kit!!

Can you imagine, after over a week of exhausting work, dozens of people involved, looking for people that you know very well could be dead -- and then finding them alive? It must be one of the most wonderful feelings in the world.
There are still some beautiful people in these ugly times, yes?
These reenactments never seems to amaze me with how good they are,its almost like you are there with them experiencing what they are.
PRTTYBRNEYZ I feel anxiety and fear along with them!
Bro, these type of shows have got me hooked
lmao you mean "cease" to amaze you?
@Clo u know a typo when u see one Lol
I legit forget sometimes that they are reenactments. Insanely good
Anybody else watching this comfortably in their bed?
Curled up on the sofa, cup of cocoa (with a nip of whiskey in it) and my dog laying across me keeping my feet warm, infact im so snug im gonna just drift off to sleep . Goodnight, lol .
I never leave my house except for work and food.

Wow...it’s incredible the lengths to which the rescue team went. They worked for so long when the chances of still finding them alive were so slim and the rescue attempts so dangerous. Every last one of them are heroes.
Heroes pay the ultimate price, so I'd say super heroes, but I'm only 10 min in, so I'm not sure
@@chainlinksart6524 Rescuers of whatever kind ARE the real heroes because they risk their own lives or serious injury to try to stop the same happening to others, many of whom, although certainly not all, got into trouble through their own fault.
Wow what we learn from this. Never give up easily.
@@aileenlightbody91 People who work as rescuers are capable of the same bad things as the rest of us. So I don't think working as a rescuer makes one a hero.
Thats why some nations are stronger Cuz what ppl are willing to do for others
To enter the cave system after heavy rain, means that their bravery exceeded their knowledge and sense of caution, to an excessive extent. I was a caver, in my student days, in S.Wales, the Mendips and the Burren area of the Republic of Ireland. We never entered limestone cave systems, with strong rivers running through them, after rainfall. That was a golden rule !
……it rained after they entered.

His story is never far from my thoughts. I mean, the guy acted recklessly - I know I did at his age - regardless, I would not wish such a death upon anyone.

Sitting on my bed with a fan blowing on me. Temps in the 70°s tall glass of ice tea. I feel guilty also very blessed! Thinking has any of these shows helped save someones life?
Maybe... by keeping people out of caves prone to flooding...
Why guilty? They chose to go into that cave knowing it's dangerous.

The consequences of mankind’s curiosity and adventure.
That's a very deep comment you posted🔝
Maybe too curious and a bit of invisible thinking?? I ho the mailbox without my survival kit!!! Lol
If it wasn't for mankind curiosity and adventure, we wouldn't have discovered great things and gain knowledge. You sorta like it sound like a person curiosity is always a bad thing and that everyone shouldn't do anything.
Why do you think there's statues on Easter island? Because someone decided to sail there a loooong time ago out of curiosity and build them there. Why do go into space and build a huge space station there? Why did our ancestors leave Africa when they could've just stayed there? We're just natural adventurers

Yes lad, I love this series 😎😎
I've gone out into situations where I might get lost, stuck, or simply not make it back to the pick up point in time, out in the wilderness. I've packed everything I may need to survive for at least 3 + days by myself, and for all kinds of weather, and not once did I ever consider taking rice cakes with me as a survival food. I only take, among other things, high energy bars, bags of trail mix, a few high calorie chocolate bars, lots of fresh beef jerky, hot cocoa packs, multi chocolate nut candy mix, fire starter, water proofed matches, a lighter, huge hunting knife, small knife, 4 silver survival blankets, (great for building a water proof shelter with branches), thin strong rope, fishing line and hooks, folded tin foil, a compass, 2 garbage bags, and all of this fits into a large fanny pack. I also wear multi layers of clothing that I can remove if too hot, and tie onto my belt if not needed. My moto - go for the day, prepare for the worst.
right. i laughed when they said soup.lol

It makes me sad seeing comments about how dangerous caving is and how stupid cavers are. I've only been on one caving trip but I can't wait to go again. It's just plain fun to explore down there, nothing to do with being an adrenaline junkie. There are plenty of caves that are mapped/aren't a maze, don't have tiny spaces to squeeze through, and aren't susceptible to this. The place I went- lava beds national monument- was safe enough for us middle schoolers. Look up photos of their fern cave or crystal ice cave. Just beautiful.
Human beings r despicable
Don’t worry about others, just do you and follow your passions in life. People are going to hate especially those who have no life.

I can never understand why people risk their life like that just to go in a cave to see rock and more rock. I liked to explore places like that when I was 10 years old but I would never risk my life as an adult just to see a cave. I don't know maybe I just don't understand the fun part of cave exploring. I just hate when people risk their lives like this especially if they have a wife and kids at home.
They obviously didn't think a flash flood would happen and put them in this situation.
People in new zealand visited a live volcano, and they wondered why it arupted , and they got burnt, so many people didn't survive

The so called “extreme levels of CO2” that were accumulating actually weren’t. The water would absorb enough of the CO2 so it’s not as much of a concern. Running out of oxygen was the real issue.
