- What is the best Bounty ship in Star Citizen? It definitely needs a lot of fire power, it need strong shield, it has to have lot of cargo, and it has to be able to do destroying ships fast.
All of that and more has Drake Corsair, in my opinion best bounty ship in star Citizen. This ship is my favorite and I take it everywhere with me. From bounty mission to clearing bunkers. If you stay with me untill the end I ll show you why this ship truly deserves to be number 1. in Star Citizen bounty hunting.

A bounty mission over a planet in complete darkness is my worst nightmare in a Corsair, especially the lower tier missions against smaller ships. The ammount of times I've slammed into the side of a mountain.. 😂
That said, I love my Corsair, even with its terrible handling. If they made the cargo bay about half a meter wider (so you could fly in a Pisces instead of having to jank it in) and increased the missile loadout to make use of all the space on that giant wing, it might be the perfect ship!
Corsair is amazing. I still prefer the constellation for some reason. Praise be a rework one day lmao
Agree here. I have a feeling when they get the gold pass a lot of corsairs will be melted
I'm wishing there were some smaller ships mixed in with the big ones on ERTs, just so my turret gunners would have something to do.
The Corsair is also great for High Risk combat service beacons. You can make from 45+ to 250+ K per mission. Depending on how many targets you have to take out. Unfortunately these are usually bugged out and you cannot complete them all the time for various issues.

Honestly the only reason mainly ppl buy a Corsair tho is the pilot guns and once engineering is in you won't solo in it as much as you are now, I usually take my Inferno out for bounties.

Luckily I won an A1 recently in a giveaway, trough that I was able to upgrade to a Corsair and I have to say, it´s one of the best ships, even for a solo player noob like me XD

It has horrible flight turn stats to compensate for so many guns the constellation series actually is better in my opinion especially with a couple of fixed size 5 wpns. And it can manoeuvre better so it can get on target even with small ships.
I just love the power and looks of Corsair. But the Constellation series is amazing too
With full ballistics it has over 11.5k of continuous shield penetrating DPS for over a minute straight. One Corsair can absolutely smoke an 890 in no time. That's a bit crazy. I own one and use it all the time for ERT's. It's a substantially overpowered at this moment in time. Made more sense with the two med shields to be honest. The thing is insane. Granted you aren't going to fights smaller ships, but larger ships are smoked. Too much pilot DPS.

It's just useless solo against a competent pilot in a light fighter though.
@@leslieviljoen 100% agreed about small ships it has no chance- even fully crewed. I had one pop in on me and a buddy in a reclaimer 3xs3 Large shields. Dead in 12 seconds. Maybe less.

It is nice but Corsair is a gun ship. More firepower.
The constellations are also S tier ships for bounties.

Bought the corsair for real money and I'm a beginner regarding combat but an expert regarding mining. I have a question...I see that you're targeted ship has a green open square around it whereas when I target a ship it is red in colour not green. I still see the pips turn green when I have a firing solution but not the green open targeting square ...what am i doing wrong?
Nicee have fun with your Corsair. Nothing, you are fine this is just an old version of Star Citizen 3.22, now in 3.23 it looks like you described. You can make the circle bigger, check my videos about the best settings for SC.
