Sounds similar to when i was told I had Aspergers , I have known I was different something was wrong, but to be told at 50 what the answer is and now at 62 learning to live within the boundaries set by my condition no cure but you grab at any help hoping for Normality to return.

Did you recognize Sam as the young kid that Ren lent his amp and guitar skills to in an earlier chapter with a brief bit of video? One in the same. The angry car park attendent version is so fun!
It is cool to see you go through these chapters at the very beginning of you discovering Ren. All his music is amazing, but even more amazing when you know his history. Really looking forward to future Ren reactions from you!

Unfortunately, a diagnosis and a cure are not the same thing. From what the majority of the research I have seen seems to indicate, if you treat lyme very early on with long doses of antibiotics, there is a much higher incidence of cure; however, when it has been ravaging your body for so long, often, the treatments are more likely to be temporary respite. Hopefully, Ren's new level of better is sustainable, and science will catch up in this field. Thank you for doing these Ren chapters. It is enjoyable watching you become familiar with Ren's story for the first time (many people who have been following Ren for awhile know the basic outlines of the story, but are getting a more detailed account through these chapters).
