Shadows of Forbidden Gods is a game where you prepare the path for a dark god to come and dominate humanity. You can emply a wide variety of strategies to achieve your goal and no two games seem the same.

This game has definitely been a highlight of the year for me. Rough around the edges, and the art style is a bit low budget/eclectic, but it's a real treat to play.
The elves update just released today so the game is basically complete. According to the roadmap, this was the last content update and from here on to release is just finishing the UI rework and bug fixing/balancing. Anyways thanks for the vids! Really helpful to a new player and this game deserves more attention.

This game is a gem. Has some rough parts still true, but the plotting and scheming is beautiful. Hopefully they can fix a few things like the Deep Ones.

There is death magic in the game. You can spawn a huge army of undead that gets bigger and bigger as it eats nations and finds places with lots of death and corpses. If you can set it up right by causing lots of death in the world via wars and plagues, it is totally a game winner

I'm curiose how this plays, the demo thing seem to escalte really fast so I'm not sure if that is bas game or the demo being a demo

Yea but i think the game is made by just one single dude. Obviously there will be limits on the scale of things. I think it's better to focus on deep-mechanics and gameplay rather than trying to make it look amazing.
