LOVE HER, WATCHING HER SINCE 5th grade, in September im starting 8th grade, so proud of her, I look up to her and hope one day to become as good as her, still practicing my animating skills!!
I also just finished my second year of animation school and am feeling the exact same way this summer lol 🤣 Like the last couple summers have been stressful and full of art blocks because I kept putting so much pressure on myself and my artwork. This summer though I am finally checking back in with my younger self's passion for life and creativity and it is SO freeing! And now I am about to debut the vtuber model I made for myself cause whO cares about what my school will think about me advertising myself as an anime girl on the internet 👀
Once again everything you say in a video hits home!!! Saku when you talked about just trying to let go of your worries sometimes and living out your shoujo dream lifestyle 🤩 I honestly really felt that. With the way things are right now in the world and maybe even personal life for some, that mentality is really needed and what I try to do myself! Awesome vid AND YAY TO THE RETURN OF SAKU VLOGS!

your videos are always so relaxing and calming, and i agree just drawing for yourself being a kid in a way (although im still young lol) doing things for yourself always feels good and you need some of that in your life
I feel the exact same about growing up and being an adult in this world. As a kid, I had such a jaded view of how being an adult would be, but it’s really nothing how I thought it would be.
I found that there’s no real time for everything, which sucks a lot. It’s nice to know that it’s not just me feeling the same way.
Only recently, I finished up my first semester of Uni and now I can finally relax for a short while I go right back into the second semester aha, so let’s both do our best!!!

I usually don't watch vlogs, but I love the ones you do. I'm pretty new at your channel, and already love the vibes of it. Plus, watching you learn and motivate yourself really inspires me to pursue my actual dream, as i studied and graduated from a career I don't really love (but don't hate it, either).

I’ve been watching your vids for like 3 years now and it’s so nice to still see you upload!
i think i'm in a similar place as you right now. this previous semester at uni was so rough for me (illustration major who didn't pass their portfolio review eesh) and thinking about how i can turn art into a career when ai and the competition of it all makes it that much tougher. every day this summer i've been trying to work on improving my art, drawing every day, etc, but also trying to rest because i'm seriously burned out, you know? i've been trying to find ways to make drawing fun, but it's been really tough. i tell myself to draw every day (with a reward as motive) just so i actually get the art practice i need, but that's just it -- i have to motivate myself. i don't think i have a lot of actual will left to draw these days, which... i'm kinda at a loss at that tbh.
when i turned on this video and you asked when the last time i was really truly bored was, when i didn't have to think about the things i should be doing... that really struck something in me, because i can't remember. i always feel like i should be working when i'm relaxing. and it's exhausting. but maybe... i just need to take your advice? actually spend time doing things i enjoy without worrying about what i should be doing? draw for me instead of drawing what i need to improve on? maybe then... i won't feel so burned out anymore?
that being said, i'm curious to know if you're feeling better after taking some you time, saku! you go and get that you time because you deserve it!! i suppose we all do, huh?
Interning sounds super interesting. Once the movie comes out I’d be very curious to hear about the pipeline for the production and your experiences if you wanted to make that sort of video :0

I'm now in college and I'm thinking what I'm actually doing here because people are studying towards their goals or working to achieve their dreams and I'm here taking a major that I have no interest just because my parents forced me into it honestly it is very tiring and I feel so burnt out I can't do art anymore I can't draw like I used to I can't enjoy it and all the stuff with ai it is all very overwhelming summer doesn't feel like it used to
