All springers prefer heavier pellets. It has something to do with the piston dynamics.
Darn, I should have tried the 18gr.
ZƏHƏT OLMASA QİYMƏTİNİ DİYƏRDİZ
Hmm I think I've learn something again *steve
Yes because heavier pellets gets higher pressure air with pistons.
Jsb heavy 👌
Still a great pump gun even though it is mostly plastic, czcams.com/users/postUgkxh4su9YgU1tWmjikirWcKJbjsFLEU62Bc but with care it will last a long time. It would be neat if Crosman would make a commemorative version of this with real wood stock, but of course it would weigh more and cost more, but hey, it would be cool. The included scope is more of a toy, but it does work for backyard plinking. I prefer to use pellets for greater accuracy, but BBs are just as good for plinking. This is not a Red Ryder folks; fully pumped it is 3 times the power of a Red Ryder and can be dangerous if not handled properly. Be safe out there.
I can't believe a springer can be this accurate and this much fun!
It can't be. The moving/cocking part of the barrel does Not orientated to the exact same spot rendering the scope, which is on the stationary part of barrel, will not line up with crossbars. Close enough for 20yards but 35+... lucky to hit a soup can.
Great air gun you got there..comes with a scope and open sights..very nice.
Beautiful gun. Great video as always!
Really good review Nate. Love the videos, I really enjoy your style of review, you give great details about the rifle and its ups and downs and everything in between. Great shooting with that springer. Cheers 👍😎
Thanks Blade Runner! I appreciate the views and the comment! This review video was based on a True Story! Thanks for watching! -Nate
I have the mod 125 in 22 cal. and its a real beast .
Since I lack space in my home for shooting, I practice off hand with open sights with my Hatsan 60 at 10 meters against one inch pieces of chalk sticks, I like it when they explode in a ball of white dust and it gets challenging to hit the smaller pieces that can be picked up from the floor. I have three Hatsan rifles and all of them are incredibly accurate.
Great shooting Nate! That baby is accurate which is insane. Might have to get one of these.
Another great review as always! I had seen Pyramid advertising this rifle a few weeks ago and was considering it, I own several Hatsans and for the most part they are a decent gun. When I purchase from Pyramid I always place my order by phone to a person so there are no mistakes, I don't know if it helps your channel but I tell them your review help me make my decisions on my purchase. Thanks again for your through review and am sorry about your gear going missing.
For sure tell them that. I would score big points for a call like that. They work with me to help make these reviews....so they would be thrilled to hear the videos are working. Thank you! -Nate
@@AirgunChannel I'll mention your vid in my review. Just ordered a 22 cal Hatsan Airtact because of you and 1500 pellets.
That looks like a pretty nice break barrel. Thanks for another great review.
Thanks for watching! P.S. I love cats! -Nate
Nice video, Nate. i brought my breakers to the woods for 3 days trying the ''artillery hold'' and sucked. on day 3 i got flustered and held it tight and that was all i needed... to try something other than what i heard on the web. thanks for listening. [they were a Gamo Fusion .22 & a Hatsan 135 vortex .30]
Good call. The artillery hold never worked for me either. In this video I decided to not do either, and just shoot the gun. That's how I got those good groups. Just shoot it and don't worry that it may jerk around. Still not sure how I did it. Practice makes perfect! Thanks for watching! -Nate
Very accurate n nice review, everything is very informative I'm loving it new subscriber here👍👍
Really like the safety on these air rifles I have the Airtact and it's a good gun
Linda carabina, espero que venha para o Brasil. Parabéns pelo vídeo 😃👍🇧🇷
That gun is a beauty and very accurate out of the box.
Great Break Barrel Ever
Nice Job Nate! Look at you shooting another springer! Cool stuff!
I like not having to worry about air...or running out of air. It's great to get a break from PCP once in a while. Thanks for watching! -Nate
@@AirgunChannel it's also nice for working on your shooting techniques of proper artillery hold and follow through. That one with a good scope you probably could get up to 50 yards of accuracy with a little holdover. I only wish Hatsan would have a good multi-shot system like the Gamo or the new Crosman.
Never had any issues hunting with a good quality springer
I have a vitus and pt44 pump in 25 cal and a springer in 25 as well. A fraid to shoot the pcp in the back yard. But the springer in 25 cal is a excellent pester and not afraid to shoot in the back yard.. the moderator can be hack/ improved. Hatsan like the heavier pellets. There is some clean up and polished that can greatly help with accuracy and esthetics. Just really impressed with the over all quality of there products.
A polished Hatsan barrel, Now were talking! Yes, They make good solid guns. Many people buy them and improve them like you mentioned. There are some nice ones out there with regulators, etc. Happy shooting! -Nate
Great to see you shooting a springer or gas ram! At least no messing about pumping or filling up with air some other way and having to mess around with fill probes if don't have all the required fittings they never tell you about. All you need is ammo to have fun!
Yeah, Great to have a break from PCP once in a while! -Nate
Thank you. I like to have a couple quality gas ram/springers to play with in the yard.
It saves me running my compressor to death for just low power fun shooting of my old vacuum cleaner or cans or something.
I just bought this because of you.
Keeps my compressors from breaking as quickly on my pcps.
Or I need to buy better compressors and learn how to maintain and fix them. 😂
By the way thank you for speaking out against unethical hunting. Selling products such as these with advertising that you can be hunting and murdering life left and right is wrong. If you are gonna do it. Do it right.
Use a pcp.
Nice shooting, good job 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you! -Nate
Beautiful breaker for sure! I like the 125 mod hatsan is my fav! I don't use them much as I'm into the pcp rifles full time! Cool video boss.hey sta sligin that sweet air rifle lead! Ed da pro snippin air man 💥👇💪💪😱
Thanks man! -Nate
Man I hunt with my gen 2 gamo magnum. 22 cal all the time and rarely do I miss. I love my springer
Badass Springer..👍👍👍
It's a good one! Thanks for watching! -Nate
It has the same barrel has my airtact. Its like a model 95 with a thumbhole stock and an airtact barrel. Cool gun. You could hunt with that no problem, my .22 airtact has dropped a big ol coon
Springers eat scopes, you need a scope that is designed for a spring gun. They eat them too, but they just lasts longer. I had 6 X !8 power on mine. The scope adjustments were fine until the front bell flew off. The recoil is reverse of a cartridge rifle and even a scope made for use on centerfire rifles will fail on a springer. I shot mine a lot.
Mine is a Diana side-lever cocking model. I bought pellets by the thousand and I still have plenty left. Beeman Kodiak magnum 21-grain .22 caliber Pellets. I used them to break balloons at 100 yards plus.
I would take it to a shooting range where other shooters were shooting high power rifles. Some of the other shooter seemed shocked seeing a pellet rifle breaking balloons at 100-yards. That was 25 plus years ago, I like seeing all the new things you review on air guns. 😅🤣😂 You do a great job and I like watching your videos.👍🙂
Thanks Gizmo! That sound hilarious shooting balloons at 100 yards at the range. Good stuff! They make new guns so fast now, I can barely keep up. I appreciate you watching. Thank you! -Nate
Every hatsan I have ever bought felt like if I paid $100 dollar more still would be a great deal. I expected them to be like the old Chinese orange stained springer. I am very surprised buy the quality. Form fit and function. And the wood stock is beautiful.
This gun is definatily puching above it price point. Great company.
Greetings Nate , how are you doing ? .... Enjoyed watching you shoot this springer! . It has a lot to offer ... Thank you for your hard work .... cheers Simon from England 🇬🇧
Thanks Simon! I'm doing good here across the pond. I can't wait to shoot some European guns! Delta Wolf Gen 2 is sitting in the box calling my name! He also said he wishes he was "Simon's gun", so he didn't have to sit in the case 24/7. I'll shoot you some day I promise DW! Happy shooting! -Nate
@@AirgunChannel that’s so wonderful the DW .. thanks 🙏
Wow nice gun🔥🔥🔥
Hey BugABOO, thank you for sharing! Tom LI NY
Looks great. 22cal for the win in a BB rifle
Nice Video brother
Hello friends, I'm from Brazil and I really like the pressure carbine shot, I really like my PCP beeman 1336 plus I use a loaded one for 15 shots that a friend of mine made in a 3d printer.
Very niced. Pressure carbine is far superior to any spring rifle! I love Beemans. Thanks for watching and Hello from the USA! -Nate
@@AirgunChannel I also like spring or nitro piston air rifles, the first one I had was one of this type, and it was a CBC Montenegro special made right here in Brazil, but we have other brands too, How hatsan , gamo , crosman , Rossi, náutica ... A big hug, your subscriber from Brazil!
Nice rifle. You forgot to mention that it has a 'Shock Absorber System' for smoother recoil.
It's about 0 recoil for sure.
Have I never!! Freehand! Hitting a soda can at 30 yards!! This guy must be a god!!
😂😂🤣🤣😋😋😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😋😋🤣🤣
I am actually a cyborg which gives me that, and other, abilitys
That is a really good looking rifle. Price point is right on. Thanks for great review.
I agree. Good looking rifle at a good price. I'll take this over a $450 HW97 any day. ...in fact, I'll take 2! ...get it? Thanks for watching! -Nate
Good to see you in the video Nate👍 you look like Tobe Maguire 👍🙂 thanks for the good review 🙂👋
Thank you! Toby is actualy my brother. -Nate
I have this airgun 6 months in 5.5 mm.its very accurate and strong.after 1000 pellets the chronograph seems with field target trophy 5.5mm 14.6 grains,805 fps!!!!21ftlbs!!!.i love it
I use a lot of H&N pellets with my Gamo Swarm MAXXIM...most of them are on the heavier side with my heaviest being 21.14g...some are a bit too pricey for plinking, but are very accurate...you should try the H&N Hornets since your Hatsan likes pellets in that weight (great penetration, ideal for racoon size critters)...the blue Infidel is nice btw...there's a way to fix the annoying buzzing sound it makes too 😎
Nice shooting
Thanks, I enjoyed that springer the most of all the springers I have shot so far. Cool gun!
I just got this and had an issue with pellets fitting. I had to make sure that they are pushed in all the way otherwise it would “smear” the skirt a little. This was effecting accuracy greatly.
Essa é uma das melhores espingarda de chumbinho que já vi muito muito boa demais
Nice 👍
Anyone have predictions of how well this gun would do at 100 yards (assuming good shooting technique)?
New subscriber here. I been watching a lot of your videos the past couple days. Cool content man. I think I'm going to buy a springer for hunting and I was wondering why you say you don't like hunting with one?
They are not very accurate past 25 yards. The likely hood of injuring an animal with a pulled shot is very high with a springer, unless your a crack shot and your shooting a $900 springer. Just buy an Avenger and a $300 portable PCP pump.
Cool !
Love my 22 Flash pup. Tack driver at 35ft/lb
Those Flash pups are the best. Accurate and powerful. Thanks for watching! -Nate
Yea, good to hear. I’ve been eyeing that sucker. I’m short and know I would really enjoy 32” over the 44-48” break barrels. Been thinking like to step up to .25, but I see in Flashpup is only 2 foot pounds more with .25 over .22. And, it seems larger choices of pellets in .22 then .25, I’m stuck 🥴
I’ll stop now, but like to know if you went with synthetic stock or wood and if feel like that was the correct choice for you? Thanks and sorry- I’ve just gone balls on stupid with pellet guns since rediscovering them after 50+ years. 😆
@@bayouflats5054 I got mine in wood. Being a bullpup you can hold it up forever. You can adjust the power simply. I got mine shooting barracuda 21.1 gr at 870.
@@tormentorxl2732 😎OOL! Thanks
Misserable my dude, however thank you for all you do my man! You started me air slinging!
Thanks man! I ended up buying all the stuff again, the show must go on! But I was so pissed I couldn't shoot straight. I think someone threw the bag away by accident. Good times! All good now. Thanks for watching! -Nate
Break barel 😍😍😍
Yes, they call them that, or "springers" after the spring piston they use.
Wonder how much better it is than my 25 cal sniper vortex from your groups it seems more accurate. I recommend people oil the outside of the metals cause mine has some minor rust issues.
Every week I look forward to Friday night or Saturday morning to check out your new contribution. I notice that you usually open with " guys and girls ". It is to your credit that you are also thinking of the female fanatics, although unfortunately it will remain mainly a male sport for a long time to come. This Hatsan is certainly accurate despite your more pcp experience but the very stylized look is also sure to be seduced. Besides three pistols, I once told myself to stop at ten rifles. The last purchase is faster than expected, as with many people probably. So now I'm finally thinking of the Huben K1 .25 or the Hatsan Blitz .25. I still doubt but with preference for the Huben. Or start by selling the first ones, then I can keep buying? Yes dear girls and guys. Time, as often, will advise me.
Thanks for the comment. It looks like right now about 4% of my audience is girls. CZcams tells me. I say it anyway, just hoping a pretty girl will join the sport. I agree though, girls are not running to the buy airguns. For sure go with the Huben K1. They are so accurate, much more accurate than a Blitz...a whole different thing. You can precision shoot with a Huben. and it has as much power as a firearm. You can get wood stocks now too. You can sell your guns on airgun classifeds at airgun nation and airgun warriors or airguns.net . The first 2 you have to join and place about 10 posts before you can place classified ads. You will sell your gun easy..or eBay. Happy shooting! -Nate
Nice .
It is a fun gun. Thanks for watching! -Nate
Nate, why didn't you use the scope provided with the gun?
Need that knife Ninja 👍🏻

nice
Looks like scope is canted to the left not level. Or your hold is canting it. Good shooting
just ordered one of these. what scope is best?
Hi, i just bought that same airgun and a Bushnell scope i mount it with 11mm rings, every Time i shoot The shots gets up never wont zeroing, have you any idea about it, i thinking to change rail mount to other one
Darn, If your scope is not rated for a spring gun, it will not last long. The reverse recoil of a spring gun will destroy your scope. YOu need a special spring rate scope, like a HAWKE
It is a great low maintenance
Why do manufacturers put plastic on break barrel air rifles, as soon as I see it it just switches me off. Especially around the breach block seen loads with broken plastic on the gamo rifles.
Trying to hit that price point. We call it "Polymer" ir High Strength Polymer" Thanks for watching! -Nate
@@AirgunChannel *ALL* plastics belong to the "polymers" category. By designating plastics as "polymers" you are not wrong but you did not upgrade them either. Calling plastic a "high strength polymer" is the same BS, since the term "high strength" is not specified or "normed" at all.
Nate, I advise you to call the plastic its real name... like polystyrol or polypropylene or polythene or ABS etc.

What grain weight pellet, got that 800fps,in 22cal?Thanks
14.35 gr JSB
I love it everyone got an excuse for a bad shot lol
What will be better choice? Hatsan mod 65 or mod 95?
Good question. Whicever one is more expensive probably.
Try if you can to do the Hatsan Mod 130S Vortex QE. Or have you already?
I have not done that one yet. I can usually only do new guns...so whenever the Gen 2 130S comes out I;ll get one...but I'll check it out. Maybe I can test it. Thanks for the tip! -Nate
Hay Nate. is there any chance Hatsan sent you their new Speedfire Magnum in .22 caliber to review? It doesn't look as nice as the Mod 65 in the review but "I WANT THE POWER". LOL It would be cool if you could do a comparison video of the Gamo Swarm Magnum vs the Hatsan Speedfire Magnum. or maybe do the reviews back to back.
If it's new then I can get it and do a video. Let me check with PY Air and see if they have them or are getting them. Thanks for the tip! If springer videos can get this many views, I'm into that.
@@AirgunChannel A Lot of people like springers for their simplicity. They are looking for power and convenience like PCPs. Clue look at Field supply online for a big discount if you buy. Let me know don't forget about the Gamo Swarm Magnum Gen3 for comparison!
How does your air rifle know there’s no pellet in there, how does it damage the rifle?
good....

Thanks for watching! -Nate
Just bought this gun in .177. I wanted the .22 but they was out.
Your the first person I've ever heard say to not hunt with springers. Those springers are excellent hunting guns. Maybe u were just joking or don't know what your talking about. I did enjoy your video other than the little piece of misinformation.
Most people wound animals with springers because they are hard to shoot. Not for the average shooter.
What distance were you shooting at ?
it will say in the video. 25yd, probably

its nice to take a gun with u that has its own power.
i get tired of pcp having tanks an need to air up all the time
i will take this gun an a pocket full of pellets out anytime.
and i have killed a deer with my 22
so ya it can kill a coon.
I have to ask , from shooting the metal targets the impact seems really hard coming from a springer , and right after in the video when it goes to accuracy shooting at the paper target the reticle even changes , can you confirm the same gun was used during both these tests ? Thank you kindly
Disappeared from where? Your home? Man I’m sorry to hear that.
If you shoot a spring rifle without pellets, how does it damage the rifle?
YES!!!
@@AirgunChannel I didn't ask does it damage the rifle, I asked "how does it damage the rifle?".
@@MrRockstar1968 without a pellet loaded there's no back pressure, so the piston and spring will slam into de breech, this can cause the spring to break,
