Great to see Syd and Mike take a much deserved trip! And nice to see that throwback of Madi and her broken spool-o-thread little car😮. Great video compilation of all the work the girls are doing behind the scenes…. Kim you “fluffed over” the cushion project but I know it was a monster having sewn a few things in my life. Your new attachment sounds very handy indeed! Between Ty’s welding and construction abilities, your sewing and your collective ability to crank out pizza in any remote corner of the world, I think you guys have the bases covered to be self sustaining (well, the youTube channel helps too😅)

Happy anniversary. I wish you both all the best in the world. Kim, for not being a seamstress, your sewing is fabulous!!!!! Piping is not a beginner thing to sew. OMGosh. I am so proud of you. You can make anything now that the sewing world offers in clothing/upholstery. Did you enjoy sewing? I love it. I have pattern making software to make clothes. It’s so fun. What kind of a sewing machine are you using? Keep plugging away. You are almost on the water again!!!❤

Yay! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary! So glad you had a getaway. Thanks so much for the Ultrafeed info. I am using mine right now for a boat project and have always wanted more speed control. I will definitely look into the Worker B. I truly had no experience sewing when I got it about 5 years ago and did a big project right away. Thanks to all of Sailrite's videos it was very successful and I will say I was a bit stunned at how well it turned out. Your cushions are beautiful and I think that might be the longest zipper I've ever seen on the cord covers. Here's to both of you and another 25!

Happy anniversary you two. That's fantastic! Jerry and I (Kay) got married 8-8-1994. That's cool that we have the same anniversary. We have been watching you both and your girls for years. We love your channel. Next year will be our 30th. Jerry was born in San Antonio, Texas and I moved to San Antonio in 1982 from Ohio. We moved to Tequisquiapan, Mexico in 2013 and 2 years later we moved to La Paz, BCS, Mexico, about 2 hours north of Cabo San Lucas. We have our house here now with 2 BnBs. Come see us. Oh and I agree about maybe adding some reflective tape to the ends/connections of your very cool cord covers! Those covers will probably not pick up so much grime either?!

This one is a terrific cushion and sewing tutorial; I didn't realize what a great match the two of you were before this video. You are both brilliantly analytic; I'd say you were "boat building" quite a bit in these videos. Boats are homes as much as they are utility vehicles.
Hi Kim, my wife and I got married on the 4th of July 2011. I love her with all my heart. Like you and Ty. Isn't 25 years called The Bronze stage in living and loving your best friend? I'm not sure. I hope you two make it another 25. God bless you and thank you for sharing.
But Kim, the power cords are yellow for visibility sake. This helps with trip and fall avoidance. The beautiful gray covers can "hide" the cord especially at night. GREAT effort but ....
Good point, but I don't think the cables stay yellow for long. It would definitely be good to add some safety-orange 3/4" strips - perhaps at the start and end of the cable covers.

Married in '69. You've got a ways to go to catch up.
Not a French seam. That leaves on exposes raw edges. Double stitches seam is what you did. Really adds to the decorative look. A French seam looks like any other seam from the finished side.

it's interesting you posted about your Anniversary and tomorrow on the 12th of September me and my wife are celebrating our 31 years of togetherness raised two boys and a girl then raised our oldest grand child from two years old with autism that is in her senior year of high school Happy Anniversary to you two when you love each other no matter what life throws your way it just gets easer as you go and this is coming from someone that had intentions of never getting married to be a free man but sh!t happens
Retractable, or manual, hose reel, can also be used for power cords. Cool seeing Kramer over left shoulder @11:50. Even tho much more in au$, where do I get those awesome looking hoodies @16:50 (male & female), there's no rear pics on "The Shop" website, or crew on the front?

Valerie's Tip: Pre-wash all fabrics. Press your seams when sewing with fabric.
I started laughing as Kim was describing the bolsters - it was the picture of Kramer on the shelf. I couldn’t help but picture a scene where he is helping Kim with the 50 foot covers ant attempting to keep them organized.
