Split covers are bad unless very rare. Some vinyl without cover is still worth it.
Nice score on the Beatles albums. I think an empty sleeve would still be worth some money. Can’t believe they were out in plain sight. Radar detectors are illegal in some states I think but nice find.

I can't believe that you past on the Steve Martin 'a wild and crazy guy ' album Its one of the best comedy albums of all time, I still have mine since it first was first released in 1978. Oh, tell your wife that Paul S. is the short dark haired one and Art G. is the tall one. Anyway enjoy watching your yard sale adventurers. Keep finding the treasures 😃
Simoniz the short one and Garfunkel is the tall one. When they broke up their band Paul Simon kept singing under his name. He was great. Their breakup was so bad that they didn't talk for like 30 yrs. The got together for a concert last I heard but that was yrs ago. I love their music.
I stumbled across 2 of those V1 1st gens at a sale a few months ago. They had make an offer on a lot of their stuff and I had never bought detectors before. I offered $10 for both and he took it. I was stunned, when I looked them up, when I got home. I was hoping for $50 -$80 each. I think he was selling so cheap because he was clearing out his fathers things and didn't know what he had and neither did I.
I'm thinking you should have bought all the albums. Was good ones you left behind. IMHO.

Valentine radar locators/detectors have been the top of line units since they came out in the late 1970s/early 1980s - believe they originated as the old Escort units.. I remember them selling for like $300-400 new back in the 80s. The last time I saw one at a garage sale they wanted over $200. So, that was a great score. Great vid as always.
sell the computer as a whole, should be able to sell quick with kids doing school at home, i would try local first.
This, I would suggest researching into computers in general if you don't know what your looking at, with prebuilds they usually have a service tag or serial which you can check against the parts on the system. Dell have a very good version when you can break down each and the price on ebay.

I don’t usually comment on people’s individual right to live how they choose but This is bothering me enough that if I didn’t say something it would drive me crazy. Pam likes to sit with her feet on the dash/glove dept/ airbag. If someone was to hit you and the airbags deployed her knees are perfectly situated to be driven into her mouth, nose, eyes etc. There is no way for her to react quickly enough to stop it. Again I rarely if ever comment on people’s actions but I just so happened to watch a safety video on it and then watched one of yours right after. I never really gave it much thought before but it wasn’t pretty what happened to crash test dummie dude.

@@davidlawrencegraham6722 on this i can not agree with you. when it comes to someone and their safety, pointing out something they might never have realized could make a difference. i myself used to sit with my leg crossed over in the front seat. my wife pointed out that if the air bag were to deploy it would break my leg.
it never crossed my mind that i was taking a risk. i looked it up and now try to avoid sitting like that as much as possible. i even have my wife remind me to put my leg down when i forget.
in this case, it is not something the average person would think about. it is also not a burnt lip from drinking their tea too fast.
if that air bag were to deploy, it could do a lot more than break her legs.
on the comment of you taking way bigger risks......you are aware of the risk. i bet half of all people have no idea about the risk they take from simply putting their feet up in the passenger seat.

One thing to make sure when selling a used PC is that if it has Windows 10 it could be locked to the previous owners account. If it's Windows 7 you should be able to reinstall Windows using the COA on the case. A used PC can have peoples personal info on it. I once bought a hard drive at a sale and I hooked it up and found scanned copies of a someones Social Security Card and Birth Certificate. With people doing taxes online could ever find tax documents.

Part out the computer. Packing the whole thing for shipping is a pain in the butt, and there's a chance it could break if not packed well enough. You'll also probably get more money parting it out also.
my goodness, you should have bought every album. Worth as much as the computer these days imo. Oh well, in the future if you get a chance like that, go for it. It's just a matter of you guys being young and not knowing the artists.
the condition didn't look for resale or to collect so it wouldn't been worth much unless it was in better condition.
You would be surprised even then its the obscure musicians and records that often bring the best prices. Good records will sell even is worn as long as they are not broken. Warped records can be fixed.

I listed the same type of computer as complete, and set on it for a week. Then I revised it, and broke it up. It sold faster when I parted it out, and I made a better profit. Nice scores in this one!! Can't wait for the next one.
I just watched this video being a record collector sometimes it doesn't hurt to buy empty albums if there great shape especially Beatles because the have the record but not a great album cover

Don't forget to look through the jewerly boxes. I find real gold jewerly on occasion for a $1 or $2 worth $100 or more. Great finds!!

You should start picking up those little 35mm point and shoot cameras. Many of them are worth decent money even un-tested as-is.

You might have missed one on that beer tap. Depending on the age of it and what brand/age the tap handle was.
Parting out the computer entirely depends on what the parts are... from this angle it looks to be some sort of prebuild from dell. Maybe a dell optiplex or whatever? If thats the case, there is likely no video card, and the processor probably isnt very powerful. Since its aged it probably has an older HDD thats not big. If thats all the case, personally I would try to sell it all as a bundle locally. The shipping on all of that together is going to be just as much as the cost of the computer, and since you paid 40, I just dont see it being worth it IMO. Parents need computers for homeschooling right now, I bet it goes quick.

Always buy vinyl, as long as the condition is good and it's a known ( or not so known artist) u can always flip it pretty quick, and hell it's so cheap at a garage sale. literally nothing to lose.

Great video. On the computer I would let the comps tell you what is better. It is all going to come back to how much it will cost to ship. I can't sell a keyboard now because it costs $10 to $12 to ship it. A buyer will pay $15, but they won't pay $27 to $30.

I say computer and monitor separate. I know I saw a couple people saying bundle, but I think you'll find more people needing just the tower or just the monitor. And monitors I tend to try to do local although the prices are never as good. Another option is list it together and put in the listing to submit an offer for just the tower or just a monitor if that's all they need.

It's a way of being a "good neighbor" to someone who might not have known better than to protect themselves that way.

did you pick up the Moody's Blues Days of future past Vinyl? If you did that one is worth money, because it is (MFSL)Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. Meaning it is what is called an Original Master Recording. Look up the comps. In very good condition it can go from 50 - 100. If you every come across any of the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Vinyl or CD pick them up.

On the computer it really depends upon the age and components. If it has an Intel core i5 or i7 (or AMD equivalent) processor you can sell that alone and get your money back or maybe a little more. Not all vinyl is worth money. It depends a lot on the condition of the vinyl and the cover, and rarity. Some of the popular artists they produced many, many copies, so unless it is a first pressing or in exceptional condition probably not worth a lot.

That Moody Blues would've been a score! That's a $60 album in reasonable condition (www.discogs.com/The-Moody-Blues-Days-Of-Future-Passed/release/1684403 ). The records with a strip across the top that say Original Master Recording are re-mastered by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs and are limited edition. Very sought after by collectors!
