Ingredients
¾ cup Tata Sampann Kala Chana, washed, soaked for 6-8 hours and drained
1½ cups Basmati rice, washed and soaked for 20 minutes
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
Whole Spices
(Bay Leaves.,Green Cardamom, Black Cardamom,
Cinnamon Stick, Star Anise, Cloves and Black Pepper)
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 medium onions, sliced
2-3 green chillies
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsps coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 Cups Black Chana Boiled
2 Cups Soaked Basmati Rice (1/2 hour)
1/2 cup coconut cream or normal cream
1 cup water (1:1.5 cup Ration in rice and water)
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
fresh coriander
garnish with fried onions (Optional)
