I wanted to mention, the further you are from the braziers the colder it is, thus increases the speed you take damage. If you are fletching I would recommend not doing it near the roots because you will be stopped a lot more frequently from cold damage and it is possible to dodge the falling snow. Because of this, I believe the best place to fletch is about 3 or 4 blocks from the brazier towards the roots.
Easy afk guide; 1 -bring axe, tinderbox, knife, hammer 2 -take any food you want, but have 20 free space inv for logs 3 -cut 20logs, fletch em, burn em, go wait in starting sqaure area for the xp drop. Repeat(bank when low on food, every game or every 2-3games, depends on food n shiet)

@@plane15man I think burning is still fastest to 99 if you've got the gp to burn, Magics are as fast as wintertodt at 99 (which is much more click intensive and requires focus not to die) and redwoods are almost twice as fast.
Sara brews do great but to save money use a prayer pot and pizzas. I used 12 pizzas per solo round as ironman at lvl 80 and do just fine, I actually made decent money saving on supplies!
You know what sucks ? I started firemaking in the wintertodt for the phoenix pet I was like 70-80 fm and after a while I ended up with the fm skillcape and 24m xp in fm and I still dont have the pet.
I hate the boss because I have 99hp so I made my own method for fire making that was easy and good xp, bank at west varrock, use a varrock teletab/rune pouch with the tele runes, go between the fountain and make fires until you're back at the west bank.

I've made a fair bit of progress now and really don't wanna die - As long as i'm paying attention, is there any real way that this minigame can kill me? There's no large splashes of damage? It's all predictable? If I consistently eat when i'm at 50% hp will i always live? Thanks.
I do fletching/wines. I cut wood, fletch my wood, eat when I get low, and after I’m done fletching, I pick up more wood with the missing area from food
You should be able to get to 500 points easily if you just use the logs and don't fletch. If you don't bring so many extra brews you can fit more logs in your inv thus making your points go up faster
What happens if u screw up giving the vials to the 3 guys smuggling them into varrok? I accidentally gave one the wrong vial and dont know how to fix it
Have to go vet all vials from the girl in ardouge again and give them to the 3 ppl in the correct order. I screwed up because I didnt know I needed touch papers after talking to the guy who looks at the plague sample.

If you have 3 Bruma torches don't trade any of them in, the 4th Bruma torch onwards will always be converted into a Torstol seed, if you were going to get another torch.
@@davidyetsko5865 As of now, yes. The price of the pages is worth more than a Torstol seed, so that's the way to go; you also weren't originally able to trade in the torches for pages, though.
ok im up to 68 fm and once the points got to 500 i spam click to feed the fire - click a log - click brazier and often i cant feed the fire? why cant I feed the fire/brazier? what is stopping me?
If you do wintertod on a 10 hp account its only doing 1 damage, but at what hp is it starting to do 2 damage? So till what hp level can i train that i will benefit the same damage as a 10 hp account? People saying 14hp others 17/19 I dont want to stay level 3. But if i could have 14hp instead of 10 with the same effect it will be bettrr

The brazier breaks when snow falls on it. Players that see the snow over the brazier will know to dodge in time by taking 1 step away. Light snow = fire goes out Heavy snow = brazier breaks
Quick tip that I've found useful if you're fletching:
Fletch next to the brazier so you can repair and relight for even more points.

Like sometimes the cold gets ya every 1-3 seconds not allowing you to cut logs or burn anything because you're too busy eating...
You shouldnt fletch in the open so you can minimise the amount of 3x3's, instead fletch near an object (wall, fence, brazier etc.).
A charged tome of fire also counts as a warm item FYI.

The brazier breaking and the snowfall are predictable (both with falling snowflakes), the cold itself isn't and will hit you randomly.

You don't have to bring your best axe. A bronze axe will chop the same amount of roots per hour as a dragon axe.

Yes it does. When you open a supply crate (that has the phoenix), it'll just follow you.

you don't get more crates for 500 points, you only get more rolls in one crate you get
