Just got this thing. It's incredible value and performance. You really don't need to do any upgrades. Maybe just upgrade the tires and beadlock wheels. BTW, This is my pick for R/C Crawler of the year!
In Germany we can buy it at end of April and it costs 480€ wich is like 525$ 🥲
Well said. It would have been crawler of the year last year. So we'll see what else is introduced this year.
I think it's going to up the game for the category.
@@HorslONEhi! Which seller/link is having these? :) thanks!
@@just.jose.youtube you mean in Germany?
@@HorslONE yes! I'm from Portugal, I guess the seller you mention would also ship here? :)
Always putting in the effort, so that we don't have to. Thank you for all you do Francis!
I appreciate that!
I just got the black version of this truck, man this thing is way bigger than I thought it would be. Bigger than my Axial CJ-7. I love it. 11 Channel RX/TX, so many options already installed. Just love it.
I LOVE this channel, and great mods the FCX10 handled that extra power very well.
Yeah!!! The shocks were on full soft. Can do more preload on the springs to handle the speed and power of the Fusion.
Based of one of your videos long ago, I purchase a fusion pro for my TRX-6. It is a beast. Most 53+ of my crawlers will have this setup. I'm a about 23 now, lol. This 2 in 1 is a Beast.
Super cool Yep I’m here watching
Yeah, fun little experiment.
Fusion pro is not only good for high speed...it it great for crawling
yeah, forgot to mention that. One of the best modulating and braking performance.
I wouldn't use anything else. Paired to currie portal axles....able to crawl so slow you can't even see...and braking is amazing
Gosh who new
@@RCReviewChannel Ya, we'd like to see the slow crawl!
This seems to be the best value in trail/ crawling right now. That orange is my favorite color. I'm not much into this type rig but have a couple. I'd trade my nearly new TRX6 in a heartbeat for one of these. Not looking like I'm gonna have the time anytime soon for the project i bought it for anyways.
Yeah, this crawler is going to make a lot of folks happy since it can do a lot of things well for more fun times.
What receiver should i be using cause it drives on its own and doesnt connect to controller
I want one, I have the 1/18 scale version and its fun indoors but it gets stuck in grass the bigger 1/10th scale should be fun outside.
This one is so different from their small ones. They were able to pack in so much functionality, given the space.
What was the one key feature that you lost?
Francis, you said you lost a feature? Was it the Dig that you lost? I heard you mention you lost a feature but I didn't hear you say what feature it was? Thanks.
As long as that radio has a 3 position switch he can still have DIG.
I lost adjustable drag brake. The Fusion Pro doesn't have that and that was a function of the stock esc.
@@RCReviewChannelcan’t you adjust the drag brake in the fusions built in esc?
@@TheShopMiniRC Of course, just not as quick, easy, and precise as the remote. HW software has preset rates but the stock radio has on the fly fine tuning.
@@DanPRC ah. Yeah, I figured. I just wanted to be sure that it was adjustable and he didn’t completely lose drag brake. Figured the “on the fly” would be lost.
So for now you can change the brushless motor to something like a Holmes hobbies & keep the stock esc/receiver or are there any issues? I’ll definitely wait till that receiver comes out then go brushless.
Correct. Yeah, wait for the receiver so you can keep the cool stock transmitter.
You lose adjustable drag brake unless you get an ESC with that function.
Great motor upgrade. Show us how smooth it crawls. Does it del smooth constant force when climbing.
Fusion pro has FOC
@@buysncharge thank you
For sure. The crawling and braking are next level with the Fusion Pro.
My only question is, when they come out with the stand-alone receiver do you have to resetup end points or is that saved via the remote?
Great question. I’ll try and find out. My guess is one has to see up end points again
What kv fusion pro do you like in this machine. Never tried brushless in a crawler.
Because we’re optimizing both crawling and wheel speed and do better than stock motor, I would say at least 2300kv
We bought this for the features. Why change them? It's a budget vehicle with lots of features. If you want to teach us upgrades please do the ones that don't require a radio change. Thanks.
My fcx10 has been popping out of 4wd. The rear just clicks and front is driven. I wonder if it's broken or just needs endpoints tweaked
You need to adjust your endpoints / trim. It’s all in the manual or my deep dive review on my channel ;)
Correct. Not obvious how to adjust endpoints so check in with TheShop
What is quality of plastic. Hear it breaks compared to traxxas. Have been completly satisfied with my trx4 for 3 years. Parts inventory at lhs and durability. Recently aquired an fms. Broken rx on 3s in 20 minutes. 2 servos sticking and slipping . Could be 25 minutes of slow run time in clean garage. 1 advantage so scale looking. Will never waste dollars on fms again. Luckly got the 6 scale jeep for 200 expecting to replace all electronics.
The quality of the plastic is very good!! The shock caps are fairly thin plastic and I manage to break one as I yanked the whole car out of some roots holding the axle.
Who has said it breaks? I haven’t seen a single review or person mention the fcx10 plastic breaking.
Hi friend! This is the customer service team. Is there anything we can help you with?
Looks like you went from 8 to 7 channels. What did you disable/remove
Oh the adjustable drag brake goes away unfortunately. That is a feature of the ESC. The Fusion Pro doesn’t have that functionality
@@RCReviewChannel I think that is a good trade-off. Your transmitter might do some of that?
I assume you lost all your light control with the new rx?
That is ok. What is lost is adjustable drag brake
@@RCReviewChannel so you can still turn lights on and off from the remote? Is the light box an ibus setup?
Man i would love to have a fusion pro just 😊laying around 🙏✝️☮️🫤
So what was the feature you lost?
I lost adjustable drag brake since that's a function of the stock esc/receiver.
Some brushless ESC's have that but not the Fusion Pro.
Francis , who the hell has a Fusion Pro “ laying around “ ? 😂.
They are on sale right now. So... me?
They're laying around in other cars. lolol
@@reallyfake2760on sale where?

*why do you want it to go fast. It’s made for cruising scale crawling. And looks better like that*
Just exploring the fun possibiliites for some folks. With open diffs, this vehicle can potentially do crawling and light rallying.
Woo hoo! 1st
No matter how much you bling this brand, it’s still a toy.
Same can be said about any brand.
After selling it as one of the best rc trucks on the last video, here you are throwing money 💴 at it. How disappointing.
It's what I do. Figure out how to improve or personalize an RC Car, no matter how good.
If that's not your interest, you'll be very disappointed with this channel.
