My favorite of these is the orange. But had they done the brown with the second tone being tan instead of yellow I'd be all over that.
Id say that’s what they were going for, as I don’t remember GM ever doing brown and yellow. They just didn’t pull it off correctly. For $150, we can’t complain too much.

I know that spot! Hope you had a great day in RI. The window design on the top looks a little off from the full size, so the black looks the most realistic because it hides it the best. Other than that, I actually think the brown is the coolest color, definitely a neat 70s look. I would just take the cap off of that, or paint it the contrasting color to match. The top would not be white on this one from the factory.

I’ve had a few looks at this RC & I can’t wait to get one I seriously think they need to have a 1:10 scale version of this & then come out with more 1:10 scale licensed Chevy trucks. They look awesome out on the trail.

I ordered the orange and white because an old friend of mine who has passed away had the same vehicle, same color. Can’t remember how many adventures we had together in that truck. So cheers to him!!🍻

Yeah I think they should've had a window sticker, would've looked better. All three look good, prefer the black then orange. Like the added extras, that bumper is cool.
Yup I'm glad I have one of these on the way. I don't care if I get the early bumper or not, I'm just excited to get it.

I must say I really like the looks of this thing. I want one really bad, haha. Just got an fms fcx 24 a few weeks back. I really like it. however, I was super disappointed in the ring, and Pinion Gear broke, not 20 minutes of my son playing with it. I emailed fms and did complain about it he saved all his money to buy one and broke that fast they did give us a $20 voucher to their website for another truck I'm happy with that on their part good customer service! Ordered metal ring and pinion put it in the rear. He played with it for a total of maybe 4 to 5 hours more, and the ring and pinion in the front stripped out. I'm not happy with that. Never emailed them about its disappointment. I had to spend another almost $40 by the time I get the parts to here in Saskatchewan. Other than that, the truck seems amazing. I think they should just throw the metal parts in from the factory and charge a little more. Maybe we just got a bad one for that have not seen to many people complain about the same problem

I came looking for videos about this after looking at it on their website and I’m sold the price is decent to for something this cool
I was almost, ALMOST sold on either a TRX4M or an SCX24 untillll... I found out about the two speed tranny. Seems like neither traxxas or axial offers that and as I am looking for a little indoor rig for the coming winter months, but also don't want something that is snail-crawl slow only, this may fit the bill!! Great video overview as well!

I ordered the Brown. This will be my first 24 scale. I am planning on using it as a tow rig for either a AX24 or SCX24. I'm leaning towards the AX, for the 4W steering

I prefer the brown/yellow version over the “creamsicle” or all black. I’d love to put that body on the Smasher chassis.
I bet traxxas didn't see that coming. They have a k5 they could have miniaturized for the Traxxas M series along with the Bronco and Defender.
Perhaps they were hoping to launch it later on, but have now been pre-empted by FMS company...

I'll just wait for them to release the body alone.
No need to buy the complete car, the chassis of the smasher is exactly the same and the bodywork of the Blazer fits perfectly without changing anything!
So I get both for the price of one!
As for the wheels, I already have injora which will do the trick, anyway everyone ends up changing them and putting on brass rings.

So I’ve seen these compared to 1/18’s and they have almost the same WB as a TRX4M. So first thing that comes to my mind is how big is this vs a Tamiya wild Willy bod?

Almost anything would be better than none lol. I wound up using Tamiya “Soft” oil. Or typically 30wt works well as a start.
Does it take both 2s and 3s?
