Making The DEX SLING BAG | DIY Sling Bag

The Dex sling bag pattern was made in response to requests received after its pattern drafting video was uploaded on our D-series channel some time ago. This design is classic, compact, light-weight, and perfect for sports, quick strolls, as well as casual outings. It provides ample storage space and it is the perfect size to carry all your essentials without getting bulked up. It can be worn across the body or over the shoulders securely.
With a finish size of Length = 8”, Height = 12”, Width = 3.5", the Dex sling can be made in a variety of materials (denim/canvas/cotton/vinyl/leather), and in different color choices that suit your style. Whether you're an experienced Sewist or a beginner looking for a fun project, this pattern is designed to be beginner-friendly, and it comes with step-by-step video instructions on CZcams.

What a great bag! What type of presser foot do you use? Is it compatible with the Juki DDL 8700?

Thank you! I use the default walking foot that came with my cylinder bed sewing machine. The Juki DDL 8700 doesn't have a walking foot mechanism, so I think it won't be compatible.
